Qin Shuang stood up expressionlessly,
"You might as well wait."
He Zhiyao chuckled softly.
He grasped her wrist, "Let's go, the future Mrs. He."
Qin Shuang stiffened, wanting to shake him off. Feeling the coolness enveloping her palm, she held back and muttered, "Who wants a future with you?"
He Zhiyao wrapped his arm around her shoulder, ruffling her hair with his hand, "Me."
Qin Shuang looked up.
He Zhiyao bent down and pressed his lips against her eyes.
Qin Shuang, tickled, dodged slightly.
She heard He Zhiyao say,
"It's me who wants a future with you."
Qin Shuang's heart suddenly softened.
I want a future with you.
He Zhiyao always had a cheeky mouth, when they were together he would flirt with his sly talk which seemed to cost him nothing, and she never knew when he would blurt out something that would make her blush and her heart race. But he had never said a word of love to her.
She once thought it was because he did not love her.
