The pirates, superpowered and regular alike, closed in on Draven with malicious intent.
Spike, the deranged pirate with retractable spikes, lunged forward first. His body quivered, and spiky protrusions burst from his flesh like grotesque thorns.
"Time for some Reaper skin!" he cackled maniacally, his voice dripping with sadistic pleasure.
Following Spike, the pirates rushed at Draven, their powers and weapons varied, but their intent was singular: to overpower the Reaper. Draven's broken sword retracted from his wrist, and he gripped it tightly, ready for the onslaught.
