As Draven stood there, victorious but clearly having left a trail of wreckage, Damus hobbled over to him, still favoring a bruised rib.
"Quite a way to make an impression," he wheezed, half in admiration and half in pain.
The bartender, a tough-looking woman with tattoos covering her arms, stepped forward, her hands on her hips. "You've made quite a mess, friend. You better have the coin to pay for this damage."
Damus chuckled weakly. "Of course, I'll cover it. And take care of these injured lads too."
The pirates, some nursing their wounds, others still picking themselves up from the floor, started to murmur among themselves.
"Never seen someone fight like that."
"He's a bloody beast!"
"A real monster!"
Draven's brutal display had certainly earned him a reputation among the pirates of the Dark Serpents.
