His strong hands steadied her as she continued to throw up her breakfast in the sink. She told him to stay far since she didn't want him getting dirtied.
But he insisted on staying by her side, his strong arms supporting her as his hand swept down to her back. He carried her to the bed and lay her gently on the mattress.
"I'm so dirty," she cried.
"Hey, don't cry, queenie," he wrapped her in a comforting hug.
"I'll clean you up," he whispered when she didn't stop crying.
She hated being this emotional. She already knew how much of a hassle it is taking care of her and keeping her safe when he has no obligation toward her.
She didn't want to add to his burdens but here she is exactly doing that. Crying like a child in his arms as he consoled her. When she finally calmed down, he left her to go to the comfort room.
