"This is insane. Calling me in the middle of the night to come here is both reckless and irresponsible," he grunted.
"And yet you are here," her eyes were shining in the dark.
He climbed into her room, much against reasons dictated to him not to. That was one thing he was furious about, his lack of fine judgment when it comes to her and her wishes.
It was more than a week now with little chats and phone calls at night. He didn't expect it would lead to her request that he slips through her windows in the middle of the night. But here he is being stupid.
"I hate being played," his voice was serious and his gaze was intense.
"I am not playing around," she smiled at him.
Did he ever say how a smile of hers can undo him so? This one is no different. He felt like he had been reduced to his knees.
