"Now I'm gonna let you know right now, Minsir is the last person alive from the kingdom of Lyson, the black knights killed everyone and he was the only one to get away and he knows who you are so please don't threaten him or do anything of the sort." Rualtik smiles at Ishoa giving here a thumbs up. "No need to knock, come on in, Ishoa" She grabs the door knob and instantly a spike shoots out of the door stopping in front a Rualtik's nose. "I wonder how long it's gonna take for people to try and not kill me." Minsir then swings the door open pulling Ishoa in slamming the door behind him. "Why did you bring the leader of the black knights to my door step, he is dangerous." Minsir grabs a staff with a flaming bird on it, with some of it's feathers being burnt out. "He's not here to hurt anyone, he's helping us get to the other order, but we need your help." Minsir holds out his hand as a fireball forms pointing it at the door. "He had no idea what the black knights were doing while they were out on missions, at least listen to what he has to say." Minsir looks Ishoa concerned. "Fine, but if he even moves wrong, I will incinerate him, and I'm only doing this cause I owe you." Minsir puts his staff down as the flaming bird flies up into the ceiling. "So dumb." Minsir opens the door seeing Rualtik standing still with the spike still hovering in front him. "Hi, is how you usually greet someone." Minsir waves his hand making the spike disappear. "Come in, and don't try anything." Rualtik walks into the surprising big room waving at Ishoa, noticing all kinds of magical artifacts, weapons, armors, even noticing the flaming bird, but Rualtik Realizes the bird is a phoenix. "Well, you're quite the avid collector." Minsir closes the door snapping his fingers making a chair slide across the floor making Rualtik sit down. "Now you are going to explain to me why you're helping Ishoa and what your intentions for doin so are." Rualtik grabs his sword that's on his side setting it on the floor. "We made a bet, I feel like I lost the bet so, I'm helping her with her problem but, she feels like she lost or the bet was interrupted and she offered to help with my problem." Minsir looks at Ishoa who nods her head. "Alright, then where were you when you found her?"
"I was at castle Cryston, they had declared war on Ashenvyre and I was sent out to take action before they did, but before I ordered the starting attack I was stabbed and knocked out, when I woke up I fixed myself up and made it to the nearby town, where I found her." Minsir looks at Rualtik squinting trying to tell if he's lying. "Take off your helm, I wanna see your face." Rualtik then slowly takes off his helm setting it on the floor next to him. Minsir's eyes then turn a deep gold and blue. "Well, isn't that interesting." Minsir then slowly closes his eyes focusing on the power coming from Rualtik. "What's so interesting?" Ishoa notices a symbol appearing on Rualtik's neck as it begins to slowly fade away. "Seems like you awakened some sort of power, and I erased that magical mark the black knights gave you." Minsir walks away grabbing a potion tossing it to Rualtik. "Drink that then tell me why you and the black knights destroyed my home." Rualtik drinks the potion without a second thought sitting up straight. "The black knights are the ones that destroyed Lyson I wasn't there, I was in Ashenvyre training the knights to come, I have been training the future knights for the past 40 years, I haven't been on a mission sense I lost my daughter until couple weeks ago which is how I got here." Rualtik looks around the room feeling slightly light headed. "Good, it's working, now tell me, what did the king of Ashenvyre want with Lyson?"
"I don't know, I wasn't there I never even read the report, I never read any of the reports, but I think it has to do with something about Hades and the king working together."
"What happened to you're family?"
"My wife... died giving birth to my daughter, My father died on a mission, my mother surrendered herself to Vikings attacking the kingdom, she likely died shortly after, my son... was turned to ash by a wizard on the coast of the isle, my daughter... my daughter..." Rualtik then stands up throwing the chair across the room making it shatter on the wall. "Don't make me say it... please." Minsir steps back grabbing his staff noticing the blade sticking out of the arm of the armor. "Fine, I suppose you've told me enough." Minsir waves his hand making Rualtik fall to his knees and throw up the potion. "you're an asshole, you didn't need to know any of that." Rualtik stands up wiping his mouth noticing the blade coming of the armor. "What is this?" Minsir walks over to a piece of armor and starts enchanting it. "It's an enchant that I made called poly morph, it links to you doing whatever you think." Rualtik looks at the blade as it slowly retracts into the armor. "Will you help us?"
"I will, but I need something from you, in the kingdom of Lyson there's an underground vault holding texts about the gods, weaknesses, strengths, even the spells and weapons they use, I need it."
"Wait, why did Lyson have that?" a bottle hits the ground rattling as it rolls across the floor. "Because the king didn't trust anyone, from gods to other kingdoms, everyone thought he was crazy, but I guess in the end he was right about one of them." Minsir grabs the bottle off the ground throwing it at Rualtik making him catch it. "Lyson is on the way to the other thieves order I don't see why we can't stop and get into that vault."
"Then it's a deal, I'll go and help you with whatever you might need, but do not mistake me coming as a sign of trust, I do not trust you, I will never trust you and I will protect the others before I ever protect you." Rualtik grabs his helm putting it on smiling under it. "Good, I wouldn't have it any other way." Rualtik then walks out of the tower leaving Ishoa behind. "Minsir, despite what you might think and seen, he isn't like the other knights that we've fought, he genuinely want's the best for these people."
"I doubt it, all those knights lied and schemed to get their way, and like he said someone has been training them for the last 40 years, he's planning something." Ishoa walks up to the door they entered. "Well, I don't think he is, seems like he has a good heart maybe it'll just take you time to see it." Ishoa leaves the room leaving Minsir in his thoughts. "He's hiding something, and I'll find out what it is."
