Phoenix's appearance brought out tears of happiness into everyone's eyes.
"Phoenix… you're alive," Cecilia covered her mouth and said with trembling lips.
"Mommy!" Sienna and Sky ran towards Phoenix and held on to her legs tightly. Just like the adults, both the kids' eyes glistened with droplets of clear liquid when they saw Phoenix.
Phoenix squatted down to look at the faces that she had been missing for weeks, "Sky, Sienna, mommy missed you so much," Phoenix said while pulling the kids into her embrace.
"Mommy, please don't leave us," Sienna said while sobbing.
"I'm sorry, baby. Mommy never wanted to leave you," said Phoenix, while caressing the little girl's back tenderly.
Everyone took their turns to embrace Phoenix. They wanted to feel her warmth and made sure she was not an illusion.
"What happened, Phoenix?" asked Edward.
