"Are you changing the topic?" Phoenix asked.
Ken's hand that was taking out the takeout boxes from the plastic bag stopped, "Yes. I am. So can we just eat?" he said, and resumed taking out the boxes.
Phoenix scrutinised Ken with his eyes and said, "you love her, don't you?"
"I thought we were changing the topic?" Ken frustratedly asked.
"You are. I'm not," replied Phoenix.
Snapping his head towards Phoenix, Ken looked at her with unbelievable eyes, "Is this the real you? Or did living in the real world change you?" asked Ken. The person he knew before was vastly different from the person that was in front of him right now.
Phoenix shrugged. "Mia is a sweet girl. And persistent. It's not hard to fall in love with her," said Phoenix.
Ken stared at Phoenix, "If I don't know that you are engaged with her brother, I might think you are in love with her," commented Ken.
