"Phoenix?"
Intan, who was on the other side of the line, looked at the clock hanging on the wall, it was ten in the evening. "Is there something wrong, dear?" she asked.
"Mom…" Phoenix inhaled air through her nose and exhaled it from her mouth, "I'm nervous," she uttered slowly.
On the Other side of the line, Intan put down the document in her hands on the coffee table and took off her glasses and let it hang by the chain on her neck.
"Nervous? What are you nervous about Phoenix?" Intan asked tenderly.
"Mom, I'll be meeting Ashton's family this weekend," Phoenix said.
Intan had a smile on her face, "Oh? You'll officially be meeting them?" Intan asked.
"Well, Mia said they are holding a barbeque party because they want to meet me," Phoenix bite her lower lips.
"I thought you'd met them at the engagement banquet?" Intan asked, "You weren't nervous then?" she asked amusedly.
