The interior of the mansion was just as luxurious as the exterior. Walking into the foyer, there were two grand staircases on each side that converged in the middle of the upper foyer.
Phoenix and Ashton were led to the sitting room, where Ethan and Edward were sitting, waiting for their arrival.
Ethan came towards Ashton and Phoenix and gave Ashton a brotherly hug and a curt nod to Phoenix. Phoenix gave the same respect to Ethan.
"Come, take a seat, child," Old Master Han said and gestured towards the light grey long sofa that was inside the sitting room. He took his seat on the single seat sofa perpendicular to the long sofa.
Ashton and Phoenix sat next to each other, and the others followed suit to take their seat.
"Is the test result out?" Ashton asked. His hands were gripping on Phoenix's shaky hand.
Phoenix was showing a calm demeanour, but as Ashton was holding her hand, he knew Phoenix was nervous.
