As soon as the door to the room closed behind them, Ashton trapped Phoenix by the door and kissed her senseless.
Ashton only released her mouth when Phoenix's stomach grumbled in protest.
Resting his head on Phoenix's shoulder to catch his breath, "You're hungry. Let's go eat," Ashton said.
He stood up and took Phoenix's hand in his. He was about to pull Phoenix to walk along with him when Phoenix stopped him, "Ashton, what's the matter?" she asked.
When Ashton kissed her, she could sense a different emotion in Ashton. He looked like he was frustrated and desperate.
Ashton gave Phoenix a smile, "Nothing," he said, shaking his head, while giving her a reassuring smile. How can he explain what he was feeling? Seeing another man looking at his girlfriend with interest didn't sit right with him. So he kissed her to assure himself that Phoenix was his.
They left the hotel and headed for a restaurant to get their dinner.
