"Where did he go?" Alfred wondered while looking around him trying to see any trace of his son as he started to get worried, confused, and scared because he had no idea where Magnus would have gone especially because it was still too early to the point that it was still dark outside and the sun has not even risen completely yet.
Their house was small which is why if Magnus was anywhere inside the house he would have heard or seen him.
After this, he decided to sit down and wait for the sun to rise thinking that maybe his son went to bring water or went out for a walk even though both of these options did not sound possible since Magnus is not used to doing these things at night.
Alfred got fed up with waiting which is why he decided to start looking outside even though he was exhausted since he is ill and still has not had his breakfast yet.
