The other two boys picked up the body tossing it into what seemed to be a bottomless pit . After seeing the body disappear into the darkness the 3 boys walked away .

A rusty sword appeared in front of Kurayami which made him guess on what he will have to do . He picked up the sword with shaking hands afraid of what was to come

As the countdown finished a single monster stepped forth from the infinite darkness screeching at the sight of him charging with the intent to kill .
He barely dodged the first attack with a small graze on his cheek . He slashed at the monster frantically barely scratching it a few times . The monster just looked at him bored .
As the monster pounced on the boy kurayami held his sword out afraid . He then felt something dripping on him and saw the monster leaning over him with the sword pierced through its chest .
A golden light appeared as the monster disappeared and the rust on the sword disappeared along with it now giving off an excellent light with its new found shiny black handle . Within the handle there was a hole which was small enough to fit a gem .

He could count at least 10 monsters which emerged from the darkness . Though he had confidence in beating a few with this new skill 10 was too much for him to handle . Sweat poured down his forehead but he would not give up .
" Lightning Blast! "As he screamed inside his mind a dark green light emerged from his hand flying towards the 10 monsters instantly killing 6 of them .
His eyes widened from how powerful this skill was .

A bright light appeared within the darkness causing
kurayami to cover his face with his hand . When he opened his eyes again he was not in the same pace and was sitting in a clearing in a forest .
He wandered around for a few hours only finding a few small creatures which caused no harm but no signs of other people .
Eventually he came across a city he had never seen before so he concluded he was far from his original home .
Due to being distracted before he hadn't noticed that his entire body had been healed which he concluded was due to the system .
He walked inside the city stepping into the lively streets where multiple shops could be seen and a giant castle in the very middle .
He walked through the crowds of people looking for a place to stay when he finally noticed an inn he began searching his pockets for some coins but realised he had none .
" I'll have to find a job if I want to stay anywhere " He began looking around to find a place to work but found nowhere .

" It seems I'll have to become an adventurer then " He started walking towards a adventurers guild .
After walking inside many people could be seen drinking and laughing .
" I would like to sign up as an adventurer " he had walked up to till asking a young lady and she responded by pointing a door without glancing at him
As he walked in the room he saw a few people waiting in line and putting their hand on a strange orb .
After waiting a few minutes it was finally his turn and the orb had glowed blue and he had been registered as a D-Rank
He walked up to the quest board choosing a D-Rank quest .
