As we drive in silence, I wince at the sound of thunder. When are we gonna get there? Just as if he was reading my mind he spoke up
"What do you wanna eat? You dont mind if I take you to an expensive restaurant, right?"
I raise an eyebrow, why does he treat me like royalty?
"Ah no I dont mind what we eat, just dont spend to much money, I'm not able to pay you back right now"
I'm not saying I dont have money, none of it's on me right now, and I really dont wanna have to pay this guy back anyway.
"Haha you don't have to pay me back, plus I have enough money to last me a few hundred years, so dont worry about it :)"
I hate rich people sometimes.
"Wow, ok, thanks I guess"
I still tried sounding polite but he seems to have not believed it.
We finally stopped and pulled into a fancy restaurant under the name of 'Luxury at its Finest'. It was huge, so many cars in the parking lot also.. he gets out and motions for me to wait. He walks around the car and opens my door, as if I'm royalty..again..which may I add, I'm not. The smell of delicious steak fills my nostrils and my stomach gumbles..I cant help it, I'm starving. I lick my lips and glance at him, hes texting someone. As he realizes my stare, he shoves his phone in his pocket and smiles.
"How about we go in, Nushi?"
He leads the way into the delicious smelling restaurant, I cant wait to eat. We walk up to the first desk I spot in the restaurant, which is like right in front of the door. Theres a gorgeous women in a short, tight, V-neck dress. The dress really makes her chest stand out.. Rhys looks over at me with a glare and I give a confused look, what's up with this guy? Oo I found a name tag on the lady.. Her name is Charlotte.. It honestly fits her amazingly.. Anyway she leads us to a two person table..the chairs were like the old chairs kings and queens would get at the dining table.
They had red table sheets made of maybe cotton? The table sheets fade into black and just barely reach the floor, its shaped like a sideways diamond on the table. Two butlers on each side of the table pull out our chairs and take out a small note pad with a pen.
"What would you like your highness?"
Wow do I look really stupid, I'm dressed in shorts and a tangtop.. I also have flip flops on, but can you blame me? It was like 100 degrees outside.
Rhys guided me to my side of the table and then walked over to his, nodding at the butlers as he goes. He sits down and the butlers push his seat a little closer to the table.
"I would like the rare steak made by chef Quinn?"
Oh no.. what do I order? I've never been here.. Do I have to choose a chef to?
"I'll get just a medium steak, I uh also dont care what chef cooks it"
They write it down and bow, quickly walking away to give the chef our orders. After a minute or so, another waiter walks up with a plate full of drinks.
"Alchohol ok for you, sire?"
"Yes, Thank you"
A-Alcohol? I havent really drank before.
"Rhys- i.."
He looks at me with a warm smile, I dont think I can refuse his offer for a drink.. Plus hes spending so much money on me.
"Ah okay, what flavors do you have?"
"We have quite a variety sir, is there anything specific you're looking for?"
"Probably something that doesnt give off the taste of alcohol at all haha"
"Ah okay I see I see, how about our 'fantasy awakening?' Its a little strong, but it tastes like berries.."
"That sounds perfect, thank you"
"Rhys, sire, what would you like to drink?"
"Just a glass of red wine, please"
He hands us our drinks and and puts two straws in each. I look at Rhys and he gives me a flirty smirk and starts sipping his drink.
"You wanna try some Nushi?"
"Oh uhm sure, would u want some of mine also?"
He nods in agreement and I take a sip of the wine from the other straw, ew that's disgusting. I don't think I've tasted anything more gross in my whole life. I scrunch up my face and force myself to swallow it, and then try the berry beverage.. Absolutely obsessed, its delicious, why is this my first time having this? I motion for Rhys to take a sip and he does, taking a small gulp and then pulling away, sticking out his tongue
"I hate that so much haha"
"I feel the same about your wine"
I give him a smile and then look at my phone, it's already 7? It was 3 not to long ago... I hope mom doesnt start worrying, I'll be home soon.
A waiter brings out our food and sets it on the table, asking us to wait a second because we have guests, and then another waiter comes out and puts two more plates down on either side or me and Rhys. I wonder who our guests are.. I really hope they arent mean or something, I dont wanna deal with it right now. Rhys rolls his eyes and starts eating anyway, shoving it all down his throat within a few seconds. A lady and man walk into the restaurant and look around a little before spotting us. The women puts on the most beautiful smile and walks quickly towards us, while her, im assuming husband, keeps his composure and tries keeping up with her while still looking mannered.
"Rhys my beautiful boy, who is this cutie?"
Who is this women? And why is Rhys glaring at her? She seems so sweet.
"Hi mum, this is Nushi, He's my boyfriend, which means you cant force me to date anyone else because I've already found someone."
I quickly swing my head in his direction with pure surprise all over my face, although it disappears as quick and it came and I play my part.. I wouldn't wanna date someone I didnt like, so I should help him out right?
"Baby, who is this? And why is she forcing you to date people?"
I tried saying it in my most innocent and whining voice I could, but I couldnt keep my composure and was smiling very widely.
"This is my mum, Viniba youkagomi, and this man is my father, Richard youkagomi.."
I try and put on a kind and warming smile, but it's a little forced seeing as though I really dont want to be talking to these people.
"Oo I see, hi Mrs and Mr youkagomi, it's a pleasure to meet you"
"The pleasure is all mine, Nushi, please call me Viniba honey."
Shes actually not that bad, but I know on the inside they can be much different..
I glance at Rhys and his eyes are glazed over and hes just playing with his food now.
"Hey baby, we should get going before that storm gets any worse.. you know how it effects me, you can stay at my place also, so that you dont have to drive back in the rain."
"Of course my love, thank you"
He gives me a cute smile and gets up and pulls out my chair for me, totally ignoring his parents, as I start ignoring them also and grabbing Rhys hand and walking out with him, leaving his parents behind. WAIT MY DRINK I DONT WANNA LEAVE THAT, I frantically turn around and walk quickly over to my drink, chugging it all without any breaths and then quickly walking away, and linking hands with Rhys again, I turn around to glare and Rhys parents but they've already gone..
Finally we drove back to my place and it's about 7:51 P.M.. I quietly tip toe into the house and look around, it doesnt seem like Laylas come out of her room yet so I need to be quiet so she doesnt come rushing out here for her stupid CD's.. I motion for Rhys to follow me and as we finally make it into my room I slowly close the door and lock it. Sighing before plopping onto my bed and flopping backwards.
"You can sit down anywhere Rhys, you don't gotta stand"
He smirks and pulls me up, taking my spot and grabbing my waist and bringing me to sit on top of him.
"Is this alright for you, Nushi?"
I feel my cheeks flare and my ears burn a deep red. IM NOT GAY, WHY IS THIS EVEN HAPPENING TO ME WTF?! We sit in silence for a little before a call from my phone interrupts the awkward atmosphere in my room. I grab my phone and answer, not even looking at the caller ID..
"You'll regret ever getting involved in his life, you wont make it long"
"Beep Beeep Beeeeep"
Wtf was that all about? I set my phone down and Rhys gives me a confused look and I shrug, but suddenly I start tipping over, and everything is spinning. What's going on? Hehe -hic- it's so hot in here.
"Rhyssss-hic- ahh jesus, you're so hot wtf, my sister is absolutely obsessed with you, and ykw I cant blame her -hic-"
He stares at me with..lust..? And I can understand what he wants but I dont think I should do that..isnt he dating my little sister? Wait no.. because I dont even have a little sister.. do I? I dont remember.. but I completely agree with his thoughts and I giggle. Turning around and sitting on his lap facing him, what a hottie...
"Nushi..shit.. we shouldnt do an-"
I cant hold back and listen anymore, my emotions feel so strong.. I pull him in by his shirt and kiss him, scooting a little closer to his body..He flips us around and I'm on my back, I can feel my face flush and my drunken body tense up a little bit. Wait, why am I doing this again? Why is HE doing this? His eyes are so pretty.. filled with so much emotion..
I put my hand on his cheek and slowly move my thumb to his lips, why does he look so hurt? I frown a little and pull him in for a hug, he loses his balance and plops in between my legs, his head is against my chest and for some reason I can feel his tears soak through my shirt and him whimper in my arms.. my poor baby :(
Wait what? The drunk slowly.. very slowly, wears off, my body becomes very tired and I slowly drift off to sleep.
