It was feeling like a normal royal army academy day. then all the generals have been summoned the academy was summoned. all the generals gathered in the great halls of the Oracles. the Oracles we're so beautiful and one glance will make an average angel blinded by lust and do there bidding. the Oracles told them "This will be out last prophecy" the generals were shook" This will bring doom to this world and will be the beginning of the end"
Samael"Is there anything we can do to prevent the doom of the wor-"
Oracles " Silence these are divine prophecy. There will be a clash between brothers that will decide the future of this world it will happen at the great river of STYX"
Horus raised his head knowing he had to prepare not saying a word. Poseidon " brother zues you know we must fight we are ready we are not as weak before"
Zues" yes brother I just wished we never had to see him again"
the generals left the room Horus told them with grief " we will leave in a weeks time" to Poseidon and zues
Samael " I will accompany you to make sure that the demons don't try anything funny"
The class continues after the class and the generals go to there respected territories. a week passes, the Students continue there studies with Thoth. Thoth tells the class" tomorrow we will practice summoning our familiars in the arena"
Zues before sunrise greets Poseidon at the river of STYX. Zues " where is everyone else at-" Horus appears behind him with his golden mask with glowing green eyes " We been here all night" the sun rises slowly over the valley and across the river showing the demon savages Hades and Set standing on the other side.
Samael approaches Horus " if anything goes wrong I'll be here and I'll have your back brother" Shaking his hand
The warriors of both sides approach the the valley until they meet face to face. Hades Smirks " Baby brothers finally grew up and ready to face me don't let the years fool you I'm still your superior"
Set rips off his hawk mask angrily " this time you can see my face you Traitor" Horus takes His Mask " Enough with the talking we put an end to this right now"
Poseidon and zues move further away from Set and Horus knowing This fight is between some of the most powerful the most powerful warriors in this realm. Horus tried to do the same but as he turned away with a tear in his eye.
Set Screamed" You dare to turn your back to me coward" and he rushes him slashing down with his spear. Horus quickly turns around blocking his attack with his spear. the shockwave broke the ground and the trees in the distance being blown almost to the ground.
(Flashback) Set and Horus we're twins Set was the first to be born only by seconds. Both born to the angel race and son to the Pharaoh Tut . Since Set was born first he was the heir to the throne . The boys attended the same classes and training. Horus was constantly better at everything than Set . beating him at everything the teachers began to look down at Set with resentment not because he was bad he still was greater than anyone else and would of been the the greatest person to ever come from the kingdom it was just that his brother was just that great. the boys became men and on there 18 birthday the Pharaoh had prepared the greatest spears ever created even rivaling the holy weapons and masks. Set was Giving the Masked of the Hawk and Horus the mask of the eagle. This was when Sets jealous started he didn't understand why Horus was given the eagle mask when it is the most powerful bird in the sky. He didn't know the Pharaoh gave him the hawk mask bc is his greatest strength was his speed the only thing he was better at than Horus and he saw the hawk as the perfect way to show the power of the next pharaoh. He gave Horus the eagle not because it's dominance but because commitment to it's family and it would do anything to protect it's home from invaders.
Time went by and they are now fully grown men and lead there armies against multiple attacks from the demon armies . The Pharaoh had Set Control the armies and defend the cities as Horus was on the front lines. Horus popularity continued to grow as he came back from victories and set continued have his reputation diminished as the people thought that he hid in the castle because of his lack of power but that couldn't be more far from the truth since he trained with Horus everyday. The Pharaoh had him command the the armies bc since he took command casualties dropped drastically. with each trip there was less and less fatalities until there were none. Even with this going on Horus continued to get all the praise. The Pharaoh had decided his time as ruler had come to end with the success of his son's.
Set would visit the Children of the men he lost and he fell in love with one the girls he would often vent to her have late night visits . He planned on marrying he once he became pharaoh.
On the Battlefield Horus awakened his ability. Horus was gifted with the all seeing eyes being able to see there thoughts and feelings .
The brothers were called to the the Pharaoh with an audience of all the public leaders. the Pharaoh declared" My sons you served this country and I stand here more proudly knowing that we will be in great hands" the crowd started cheering. Pharaoh Tut " it is time for you to take the trails of the Sphinx" the crowd went into a frenzy. Horus and Set look at the Crowd and waved . Horus noticed all the generals was plotting and nobody knew of his power he read there minds. all the generals and most the crowd would not accept Set as Pharaoh not knowing how important he has been in defending the kingdom. they planned on assassinating him . Horus terrified of what would happen he stood there in shock. Set looked at Horus with joy" Don't worry brother I'll protect you from anything don't be worried about the sphinx"
They Celebrated the night away it was a great party people from all over the kingdom came to take apart of the festivities. it was late in the night Set snuck out of the to visit his woman Nieth. Set rushed her giving her a huge hug telling her that he will take the sphinx trails and after he would become Pharaoh. Nieth worried started to cry . Sets confused "What's wrong this is great news I love you I thought you would be happy"
Nieth sobbing" I'm not happy I'm worried about you only a few people survived the trial and I can't help but worry about you"
Set hugged her" Don't worry-" .Nieth interrupted him "I'm pregnant"
Set smiled as big as possible pulled out a ring got on his knee" I wanted to wait until I became Pharaoh but Nieth I love you with all my heart your the only one I want to be with the rest of my life will you marry me"
Nieth " I will only accept you under one condition"
Set replied" For you I would take on the whole world and give you anything that you want"
Nieth " I will only marry you if you promise to always comeback to me no matter how difficult or what you have to do"
Set kisses her" I promise I will comeback for you death can't even keep us apart do you accept my proposal"
Nieth nods her head yes sobbing with joy" yes it will always be yes"
The day of the trial the arena was packed in a gladiator style arena. the brothers entered the ring the as the crowd chanting sphinx. Horus couldn't sleep last night and the best idea to save his brother and country was to become pharaoh . The Pharaoh Tut silenced the crowd" bring out the mighty Sphinx" (the only goal is to survive fighting the sphinx for 5 mins because he it is considered the highest class beast it only rivals dragons and holy beast).
Across from the brothers in the arena stood a giant cage door began to open. With thunderous stomps a out came out the mighty Sphinx with the physical prowess that sky over the brothers as if they were turtles infront of a semi truck. A single claw was comparable to the brothers in size. the sphinx covered in battle scars from other challengers looked at the brothers as if they were just another meal . with a sinister look drool came from the beast mouth . Horus who already decided it was his duty to save his brother he wanted to become pharaoh rushed arrogantly. his father surprised by Horus delusion of power yelled " You Fool!"
as Horus rushed attacked the beast neck with the assumption that his speed would catch the beast off guard. Horus approached and as he got close preparing to strike the mighty Sphinx let out a roar sending out a shockwave that broke all the pillars that held up the statues in the arena . The roar even made the general who came to over see the trial grabbed his weapon. the shockwave sent Horus to the ground violently bouncing off the ground only to be smashed back down from the huge paw of the sphinx crushing him. as the the monster raised his paw with extreme speed it was ready to devour Horus . as it was going bite down on Horus still unable to move fast enough after being brutally smashed against the ground appeared set. Set grabbed Horus and tried to get away only to be caught by the beast bloodlusted teeth. set throwing Horus to safety "You Fool!"
Sets future bride looked as she fell to the ground trembling. The Pharaoh couldn't watch looking away ready to send the general to help. the Sphinx with Set's lower torso in the clinches of his teeth. ripped set in half as that happened you can feel the crowd begin to feel the resentment even more than ever to the point we're they started yelling from the crowd "you don't belong here" and " we don't want you as Pharaoh we wish your brother was the only one born"
The Pharaoh shedded a tear as the beast ripped sets body apart. The general ready to enter the ring you see sets body turn into sand. the beast spits out the sand as two more sets spawn in behind the beast cutting the beast hind legs. making the beast fall. the general smirked sat back down. the Pharaoh looked and continued tears of joy watching proudly. Nieth in the crowd watching also stood yelling "You made a promise if you die I'll never forgive you"
The set sand clones dissipated but the sand didn't fall. The sand rose above in the air of the beast creating a a set where he spun mid air so fast it caused a wind storm above the beast where the sphinx mighty mane was blowin into the sky . set calmly " There your finally open"
Sending his spear strength down so fast using the momentum from twist in the air the spread was launched. turning red from the velocity it was threw striking the beast in it's neck and straight threw the beast dropping it as set fell to to ground and walk to Horus. The crowd started Cheering. someone in the crowd " He has the same ability as the Pharaoh maybe he isn't that bad" Nieth fell once again feeling relieved. The Pharaoh stood up " it's not over" as Set was walking away a giant serpent rose from behind the Sphinx it was it's tail. as the serpent tried to strike set. Set didn't even turn around another set spawned cutting the serpents head off and as the head of the serpent hit the ground the set clone stabbed the it threw its head only to turn crumble and turn back into sand the crowd went into a frenzy. Set continued towards horus to check on him but the Sphinx rose again to clap down on set crushing him. Horus barley coming back to conscious from the cheers of the crowd . Horus woke only to see his brother being crushed. enraged his power awoke causing giant clouds to covering the arena as Horus rose up the clouds caused a a giant tornado to crash down Horus . the beast lost sight of Horus due to the massive tornado causing a violent dust cloud. everyone watching couldn't see anything and only hear the beast yell in agony.
Pharaoh trying to know what's going on sending in the general who came from the holy army to help his son's. only to see Horus appear infront of him with a badly hurt set in his arms with six's wings. he had become the first Seraph to ever be born from this kingdom. Horus giving set to the General of the holy army" Can you save his life" The general " Merlin come here"
A Young team of Susano, Author and Merlin accompanied the general to help over see the trial. Merlin replied " I should be able to heal him back to perfect health" Horus reluctantly " thank you I'll be back father " The Pharaoh nodded. Horus slowly dropped into the arena as the dust cloud settled you see the beast roaring in pain shaking the whole arena missing an arm. it had been cut off by Horus not even phased by the roar this time because of his new found power the the clouds above arena grew even more massive . the General surprised by his power" Pharaoh we must go it not safe here" the Pharaoh raised his hand to silence the general.
The Clouds caused a giant tornado greater than the size of the arena the crowd terrified as the tornado came crashing down breaking the barriers but the further the tornado came down the smaller it became. the tornado shrunk in size but not in power it was growing as the the tornado size grew smaller the power was being condensed causing green flashes. this continued until the whole tornado was condensed down around the the blade of Horus sword ( the spears had the ability to change form into any weapon that the brothers wanted and stay at the highest quality of each weapon that's why they rivaled holy weapons) the sword had ferocious whirlwind surrounding it where there was green lighting coming from it . the lighting bounces off the sword blinding the sphinx and in the same instant Horus cuts the beast head clean off.
The crowd started chanting "Pharaoh , Pharaoh, Pharaoh" everyone was excited besides Nieth she rushes to the front of the crowd to look for Set. she couldn't see him anywhere as the tears start to come down you see sand start to materialize next to Horus as a spear comes from the ground. as the spear starts to fall Set catches it appearing behind Horus. Set stands next his brother putting his arm around him and the both start smiling and waving towards the crowd. The Pharaoh thanks the general for coming to oversee the trial.
the general" Your boy should a lot of promise today'
The Pharaoh " Yes he made me very proud becoming the first Seraph to ever come from this kingdom. I would also like to thank you Merlin for healing my boy. You all all invited to stay and celebrate with us as guest of the Pharaoh"
The general answers " Thank you for the offer I will graciously accept"
The Pharaohs palace was packed with people from belly dancers and fire breathers to court jesters from other kingdoms came to take part of the festivities. the city streets were filled full of people celebrating it was a joyous occasion. in the center of the palace you see a grand table where the Pharaoh sat with both his son's Horus and Set. the general also accompanied them with the young Trio of Susano Author and Merlin. Author caught off guard by the beauty of Merlin in the elegant clothes given to her by the Pharaohs palace maids and couldn't take his eyes off here. Susano teasing Author saying " you could never pull a girl like that she is leagues above you".
Author kicks Susano under the table. as the boys start kicking each other Merlin gives the a deadly scowl scaring both the boys making them sit still.
The Pharaoh address the people " Tonight we celebrate what few people have ever celebrate before. We have always lacked size and power in our kingdom so we relied on a great ecosystem and each other to live prosperity. We stood with our neighbors and in our times of need they stood with us. We grew strong together and shared the fruits of our labors. Still other countries looked down on us as we did not share the same powerful armies as them. Not any more. They looked down at us because we did not share the same wealth as surrounding countries. Not any more. i stand to you saying our future is looking brightest behind my two sons.(crowd cheers quietly) I stand to you celebrating the fall of the mighty Sphinx.(crowd cheers louder) I celebrate with you the newest Seraph to grace the world.(crowd cheers louder) I stand to you to celebrate the the Pharaoh Horus.( crowd goes into a frenzy) tonight we raise our glasses to the stars not because we went through trials and tribulations to get here. we raise them to the stars because of the glory that is yet to come( crowd raises there glasses) long live the Pharaoh" The Pharaoh drinks a huge glass of wine as the crowd cheers and joins him toast " long live the Pharaoh"
Horus surprised looks over at Set where he has the biggest smile.
Horus ask Set " Your not upset brother"
Set answers " This is the great I never wanted the throne I just always thought it was my obligation to claim it Congratulations brother i couldn't think of a better man to rule this kingdom" Set hugs his brother. They continue to celebrate as the moon covers the night sky. the stars wasn't the only thing dancing in the night as the people in the city streets honor the new Pharaoh. The Pharaoh and Horus continued to party in the palace as Set snuck out to visit Nieth.
Nieth ran the orphanage of the kids who lost there parents from war. she was cleaning the house in tattered clothes upset she couldn't see Set. she put the kids to sleep . she continues to clean the house as Set comes behind her catching her off guard twisting her around where they faced each other.
Set kisses her, Nieth flustered pushes him away " shouldn't you be at the palace celebrating you becoming Pharaoh."
Set answers" Your the only person I want to celebrate with and I will not be the next pharaoh Horus has claimed the throne"
Nieth looks down " I am sorry didn't know"
Set lifts her head and kisses her forehead" This is the best thing that could of happened with me being pharaoh I would always be busy but now we can start our family. we can build home for all of us."
Set continues to hold Nieth as they go to her bedroom and Set stays the night.
The next day...
Set still hungover wakes to the smell of Nieth's cooking. getting out of bed he greets her by kissing her. all of the orphan kids laughed "eww" as they sat at the table. Set puts the boy into a headlock "Your big Sister is anything but eww."
The kids excited to see Set " You were so cool in the arena the other day"
set happily" If you thought that was exiting today I am taking you to meet the Pharaoh and introducing you as my family" giving the boy the finest armor " Ramsey I gave you an armor of the best quality it will grow with you since it's made from the Sphinx hide it might feel heavy but you will get used to it"
then he hands the girl a beautiful white dress" For Cleopatra I gave you a simple dress ( Ramsey laughs) so I decided to make a necklace special to you your big sister told me that you are a gifted healer so made it where it enhances your abilities and it has a special seal where it casts a barrier to protect you from attacks" as Set hands her a beautiful gold necklace fill with gems Cleopatra smirks at Ramsey.
" lastly Xerxes this is a national treasure it's one of the only holy weapons our kingdom has I thought it was only right since your father was the one who earned this weapon by defeating the apophis nobody has figured out how to use the bows true power I think it's your purpose"
the kids lived in poverty since becoming orphans they never had such great gifts. " thank you set" as tears fell out there eyes
set smiling" Don't get all emotional we are family now so get ready we are going to the palace"
As the kids rushed to get ready to go to the palace Set turns Nieth and grabs her hand " This was the gift I prepared for you the gem on this ring is called blood ruby it is extremely rare it (set shows her that he is wearing the same ring) it shows that other is still alive and when one of dies it turns black also I have a giant wardrobe prepared for you at the palace you never have to worry again"
Nieth was already emotional seeing the kids that she raised get the gifts. she gives Set a huge hug and goes to her bedroom. she comes out a few minutes later Nieth left her bedroom dressed in divine dress
Set looking in awe at Nieth " you look gorgeous" she blushes. Nieth answer" thank you it was my mom's the last thing I have from her"
Ramsey interrupted her with excitement" enough with you to love birds let's go to the palace" everyone laughed a little and the leave the orphanage and make there way to the palace.
The palace was right in the middle of the city on the highest hill looking over the kingdom. The group approached the building as they walked up the steps they hear sirens coming from the capital the kids not knowing what's going on look to Set.
set looks at them " you must go back to the orphanage someone has attacked the Pharaoh"
Nieth confused and worried "what about yo-"
Set interrupts her " I made you a promise that I would always comeback to you its my job to protect this country and the Pharaoh please go"
Nieth " I love you just comeback for us"
Set " I will "
Set rushes to the palace entering the Pharaohs room. He sees his brother Horus holding their Father in his arms. the Pharaoh Tut had been stabbed in the back with a spear. Horus crying as their Father had already died Set rushes to them. Set approaches them but only to get shoved away with blood covered hands of Horus.
Horus angrily " How could you do this how could you kill father" set confused looks at the spear it was his own that was one of one made for set.
Set in disbelief " I didn't do this idk who had my spear but I wasn't in the placa-"
Horus looks at Set with a deathly stare" Leave now if I ever see you again I'll kill you take this as a sign of respect of our father I'll let you flee but next time I will see you was my enemy"
Set not understanding what's going on says nothing his hands covered in his father's blood grabs his spear . Then puts on his masked with with a hand print of their father's blood. Set looks at Horus with a deadly stare " I will never forgive you took everything from me" disappearing from the palace and flees the Kingdom he was born and raised in.
