Tom, wearing the most common type of robe seen in Baghdad, appeared different, however. Gao Guang stared at Tom in confusion for a long while, prompting Tom to say in a low voice, "I am Tom."
One could recognize from his voice that this was indeed Tom, but his appearance was altogether unrecognizable.
