Gao Guang looked utterly wretched, in pain all over, with a swollen nose and bruised face, his arms hurting so much that he felt he couldn't lift them.
He had been shot nine times, none of which were lethal because Gao Guang was wearing two layers of bulletproof vests, so he had deliberately taken those shots, doing his utmost to use the coverage of the vests to absorb them.
As a result, Gao Guang nearly died, but he didn't.
Gao Guang lay on the floor, unable to move; it seemed as if all his strength had been drained from him. Though not hit by a bullet, he felt as if he were about to die.
Police swarmed out of the elevator, and upon seeing the blood-filled interior, one of them blurted out, "What happened?"
What had just happened, Gao Guang couldn't remember, he couldn't recall, but Gao Guang would not forget what was most important.
"The suspect, notify the leading officer, tell them the suspect has been found, and ask them to call an ambulance for me, thank you."
