Gao Guang rejected the proposal outright, and although Ronnie's face remained expressionless, he said nothing, plunging the two into a brief deadlock.
About a minute later, Ronnie nodded then said in a deep voice, "Fine, I'll find another solution."
After Ronnie finished speaking, a sudden thud came from the bedroom. It wasn't loud, but still quite clear.
As if he hadn't heard the noise from the bedroom, Ronnie said calmly, "I'll arrange a robbery right here on this street, followed by a shootout. Just giving you a heads-up, so you won't worry."
Gao Guang smiled, "Okay."
With a shrug, Ronnie said, "There's nothing more to say, let's continue with the deal I'm here to complete."
After speaking, Ronnie picked up a leather bag placed beside him, looked at it, nodded, and said, "The brand of this batch isn't great, but it sells easily. Let me count them."
