"What is happening... what am I doing here..."
Inside the City of Hope, an entourage of more than a dozen carriages were being pulled by horse-type magic beasts. All the civilians who see these carriages cannot help but sneer.
Some of them even grabbed stones of fruits to throw into the carriages while cursing the people inside.
These carriages were pulling metal cages inside of which were mages who committed various crimes. Petty or small crimes are not enough to warrant them this fate. All of these criminals' sins are more than enough for them to be executed.
They are murderers, psychopaths, rapists, arsonists, traitors, and many more vile terms. They are the scum of the society that needs to be purged for the greater good.
Inside one of these carriages, a young man sat in a daze. His eyes looked absentminded as he sat inside the cage.
