"I will return your Yeouiju to the place where I found it. Hopefully, we will never meet again." Yena whispered. She stared complicatedly at the handsome face of Lucifer who had fallen asleep in unconsciousness.
"Goodbye," said Yena. She quickly grabbed her bag and left.
As soon as she stepped out of the house, Yena immediately felt a cold air rush over her.
This place wasn't much different from the dead city they had occupied before. This place felt much colder and dead.
Darkness enveloped all around, this house stood out because it was the only light.
To be honest, Yena felt scared, but she made up her mind and started to walk, illuminated by the flashlight from her cell phone.
"Willow tree.... here it is." Yena followed the lined willow trees at a fast pace.
However, having just taken a few tens of steps a terrifying figure jumped out of nowhere and intercepted her.
"Ah!" Yena reflex back.
"Khihihihi ...." The ghost who turned out to be Cheuksin laughed crisply at Yena's reaction.
Seeing that it was Cheuksin Yena snorted softly, "What do you want?"
"Don't be fierce. I'll help you out of here," said the Cheuksin as he stood up.
"Help me? Why do you want to help me?" Yena narrowed her eyes.
"Well, how well...." The Cheuksin got up.
Yena was a bit surprised to see that the creature was able to stand up straight. He was tall.
"Imoogi is a terrible creature, if at that time you didn't stop him, he would have killed me. So you can take this as a return," said Cheuksin.
"Oh, so you want to help me in return? But how can I believe it?" Yena said skeptically.
"Looking for a way out of this place is very difficult, so let me guide you. How can you deal with them anyway? even if they can't touch you but they might block your way. My rank is a level higher than theirs, if I'm with you they won't dare to do anything." He said as he looked around.
Yena is not sure if this Cheuksin can see while his whole face is covered in hair.
However, these evil-intentioned creatures do exist. They had been stalking her ever since she stepped out of the house.
The timid Yena admits that it is difficult to walk alone in this sea of ghosts.
"Okay. You can help me." Yena said.
Her arrogant words made the Cheuksin laugh.
"Khihihi okay, follow me." He said as he started walking.
"Please stop laughing like that." Yena scolded as she followed him.
Illuminated by the cellphone light, Yena walked quickly following Cheuksin's big steps.
She tried to ignore the thousands of pairs of eyes staring at her with thirst from the darkness. If there was no symbol from Lucifer, Yena couldn't imagine what her fate would be like.
She really couldn't let her guard down, even though she had to be wary of the ghosts that were now guiding her way.
After a while, Yena stopped seeing that Cheuksin led her to deviate from the willow tree path.
"Wait, where are we going?" Yena asked warily.
"Where to? Of course, we're heading for the exit," said the creature.
Yena narrowed her eyes and asked again, "How many ways out of this place?"
"Only one. There is only one way out of here and the path is quite complicated. Just follow me."
She held her breath. 'Leon said I could get out of here if I followed the willow tree, he can't be wrong. So this creature is trying to trick me.' Yena clenched her fists.
Fear and anger mix and form anger.
"Khikhihi... why are you silent? Let's go quickly--"
Plakk
Yena threw her bag and hit Cheuksin's face with all her might.
"You lowly creature! Don't know how to repay!" She cursed and then ran as fast as she could.
However, before she had even run far, long hair sped up and wrapped around her neck.
"Khhhkk!!"
"Hey, where are you going? Aeri is waiting for us."
"Ukhh ...." Yena struggled and tried to untie Cheuksin's hair. But because it was difficult, she ended up using sadistic methods, grabbing the creature's hair with all his might.
"Khukk ahh! Naughty naughty!" The Cheuksin roared as he tried to let go of Yena's hand.
"Jerk!!" Yena crazily gripped her fingers through the creature's wet hair.
"Hic-hic let go!"
"You were the one who let me go!" Yena shouted. The technique of pulling hair is Yena's mainstay as a woman. Plus, since the first meeting, Yena was excited to grab this creature's long hair.
Unable to face Yena's tantrum, Cheuksin finally released his hair from Yena's neck. However, Yena did not easily forgive him.
She grabbed the wet hair until they were pulled from the roots.
"ARGGHHHH!!!" The grievous scream echoed through the silent air.
"Feel it! Stupid creature!" Yena cursed with satisfaction when she saw a large clump of hair in her hand.
The Cheuksin roared as he covered his face. the front of his head now looked bald though not much. Looks like from now on his face will not be covered perfectly.
Yena used the opportunity to run away. However, when she turned around she found that many abstract creatures surrounded her.
"Shit!"
Yena steps dead. The creatures began to approach with their gazes blazing.
"You... Khikihihi you can't go anywhere now. Just follow me."
Stratt
The long damp hair wrapped around Yena's neck again.
"Uk-khh...." The girl's breathing was blocked for a moment and caused her to slowly fall unconscious.
'No... Lucifer...,'
...
The cold wind that pierced the skin to the bone woke her up viciously.
When she opened her eyes, she couldn't find a single light around her. even though she doubted her eyes were open or not. Very dark.
"Where is this?" Yena felt dazed until suddenly heard the door open and someone's footsteps approaching.
Even though it was dark, Yena knew the person who had come was The Cheuksin, who else?
The girl snorted softly as the invisible figure approached and crouched in front of her.
"Khihihi are you awake? Wait here for a while longer. Aeri is on her way here. Oh yes, this place does not have a light source. So here I return your light source." The cheuksin said.
She didn't make a sound. She stretched out her hand and took the thing the creature was proffering which was none other than her cell phone.
Trash
Yena turned on her cellphone, and she was immediately shocked when she saw the figure of Cheuksin in front of her.
"You ...." She blinked her eyes. The creature's face was no longer covered with hair. His pale face and white irises made Yena surprised.
"Kihihi, why are you surprised? It's all because of your naughty hands. tsk tsk my precious hair, I don't know how long it will take to grow it back. I don't like people seeing my pretty face--"
Plakk
Suddenly, Yena itchy raised her hand and slapped the creature until it turned its face away.
this creature is too talkative and narcissistic. Where did that pale and sinister face come from?
"Khikk why did you hit me?" The creature looked at Yena with a tortured expression.
"Can't I hit people who want to harm me?" cynical Yena.
"Now hurry up and let me go, or else you're just waiting for your head to go bald!" Yena threatened.
"Oh--"
"Psst psstt Hwa Joon, Aeri is calling you, Aeri is calling you, Aeri is calling you."
"Aeri calls you, Aeri calls you, Aeri calls you...."
the whispers of the creatures that answered each other suddenly sounded. Yena looked toward the source of the sound and saw several pairs of glowing green eyes staring at them.
What are those creatures?
"Ah? Aeri called me, I'm coming, I'm coming." The cheuksin rushed quickly without Yena's time to pull his hair and start the action again.
"Psttts is she human? Why did Hwa Joon bring her here? Why why?"
"It's strange, usually Aeri doesn't like human hearts. Does she want to change the dinner menu now?"
The creatures seemed to be still standing at the door whispering.
