Before the Briston troops could charge on the wall debris now blocking them, two more perimeters were thrown up. And without anyone challenging them, they both grew to at least one hundred bromes wide.
"If there are any challengers, step forward!" Feerah shouted from inside her perimeter. "Otherwise, step back!"
Baston kept quiet while he sternly stared at the soldiers standing outside his perimeter.
Together, their perimeters formed an even more difficult obstacle standing between the divided Briston troops. And with the regiment's commander already occupied, as well as both assistant generals, it was impossible for Briston to supply an immediate opponent. It would take at least a few minutes before another commander could reach them, let alone two commanders.
On the Frantoch side of the wall, battle cries rang out as the formerly retreating troops doubled back to rip apart the trapped Briston troops.
