It wasn't just the young couple up early. Everyone in the house was already awake as well.
Gathered at the table, Dedric was enjoying a hearty breakfast of eggs, sausage, and biscuits. Golbert was enjoying a morning tea in silence. And Earl was busy cleaning Golbert's empty plate.
Kriff was walking in and out of the dining room. He calmly paced and pondered everything going on, all of the various events and how they either connected or disconnected, at least as best he could with the limited perspective he had.
Nelphy entered the dining room alone. Zac had to hurry and leave as quickly as possible, so he exited the mansion without a word to anyone else.
"Where's Uncle Hath?" Nelphy asked.
Golbert put down his cup, smiling. "He left a while ago. He had a few things to take care of before joining the others for the mediation meeting, unlike you, who has a meeting with Nadon after mediations."
