At that moment, Both Jash and Zac were baffled, but for different reasons.
Jash, with moments of appreciation for Bil continually building up in his mind, was overwhelmed by how Bil handled the negotiations. Seeing Bil estimate the party pay, find the key bits of info that Zac glossed over from the report, and even guess at the true motive of the expedition… In Jash's eyes, it was a masterclass in negotiations!
Zac was looking at Bil with more curiosity than ever. There wasn't any frustration though. If anything, there was a faint hint of respect beginning to take shape in Zac's gaze.
Seeing that both young men were still quiet, Bil questioned, "So, are they anticipating finding a new floor?"
