But Feerah quickly turned her back to the traitors. Her eyes were filled with worry and concern for the children charging toward her. Already, she knew that the traitors wouldn't care if any kids were caught in the crossfire.
The traitors' eyes were filled with a sense of glee the moment Feerah turned away. Both of them immediately gathered their veita and delivered an all-out assault.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
A pillar of wind abruptly appeared behind Feerah's back, forcing the traitors to stop in their tracks from the windspeed alone. Their blissful expressions immediately dimmed as they were unable to get closer to their target, all while the masked mercenaries were able to counterattack and charge at the traitors.
The small cyclone also had a secondary effect. It kept a majority of the children from being able to reach the four dueling mercenaries.
