Golbert explained, "Well, you've just come of age, which means you need passports. And if you had left the country before, you would've been issued temporary passports as children. In accordance with the law, we would update the temporary passport into a permanent one."
"Oh yeah…" Nelphy sighed. "I forgot about those. Are they expensive?"
"Not at all. They cost one silver drit, as ordered by the conqueror himself back in the day," stated Golbert. "That's how trade between Frihet and Briston became so profitable. Those policies helped keep Frihet from needing trade with deific kingdoms, and kept all fees or tariffs between the empires extremely low. Though, that may change in the near future…"
