"No. He doesn't own that particular parcel of land."
"Then, if you're the person in town that makes things happen, why can't I meet the mayor after settling into my new home? Or is the mayor also adamant to purchase the property? Or… I'm certain this isn't the case, but there's theoretically a chance that the mayor wanted to purchase it through the town and claim the profit through his earnings as mayor, for tax evasion," Bil reasoned, playfully itching his beard. "Well, if the mayor hasn't put up a bid, then I'll be taking it off your hands."
