"Same formation as before!" Zac immediately gave the order. "Hold back the stone serpents while we deal with the cobra!"
Everyone was quick to move and adapt. It wasn't their first ambush anymore, despite it being the most menacing so far. Kriff wasted no time getting beside Orsen and Willo. Ayjen, Jash, and Nelphy each equipped their gear and weapons with haste. Jash in particular leered at the seven-brome serpents with fury in his eyes.
"NELPHY! JASH!" Bil shouted not even a second after Zac. "Don't let the fifth one tag team Kriff and the young ones!"
HISS! HISS! HISS! HIIIIIISSSSS!!
The calls of the serpents and cobra reverberated off the cavern walls as the surrounding serpents slowly got closer to the party, testing to see how their prey would react. All the while, the cobra quickly glanced over the party until its gaze was locked onto the veteran trio surrounding it.
"Zac, how long can you use them?"
