That night was spent chitting and chatting about veita training and guessing how strong Bolton and Bil really were. But Bolton made sure to include Zac in the guesses as well, claiming that Zac also hadn't gone all out so far.
After everyone got their rest and got up to start a new day, their anticipation was at an all-time high. They had already managed to clear an ambush and what Bolton called a mini boss leading the stone serpent horde. Though the sixth floor was the most dangerous floor yet, the party was eager to test themselves and take each challenge in stride, one fight at a time.
Everyone quickly agreed to retreat to the fifth floor should things get too overwhelming. Then, the party reassumed yesterday's formation, putting Bil near the back to protect the weakest party members, letting Zac and Kriff take the lead.
Morale was high as the party entered the winding descent to the sixth floor.
