The frenzied scorpion hissed and charged with everything it had. Its tail sprung forward seeking blood. Both pincers were hurled one after the other to decimate the shield-wielding man. And the scorpion's mandible chomped over and over, eager to crush and swallow Bil whole.
Bil ran up with his flaming shield and a determined grin.
Ch-crunch! Tunnng! CHTUNNNG!! Thud, thud!
As the huge tail shot at him, Bil parried the tail with his morning star, sidestepping in the process in order to reduce all knockback of the blow. When the double pincer attack followed, Bil pivoted and spun around using the same momentum of his side-stepping parry. That momentum was thrust forward with a full-body side swing of the morning star, which partially parried the first pincer. All the while Bil lifted his shield to take the second pincer attack head-on.
