Nelphy had already started healing herself. Though she was still alive, she wasn't well and would need either a lot of time to recover or the help of boosted healing.
The female wyvern roared in frustration as it prepared another onslaught of wind blades for the healer.
But Zac had already dealt it a crucial blow. Leaving him yet another opening allowed him to hit even harder. An eruption of lightning crackled around Zac, all while his body was consumed by a small tornado that contoured to his frame. He shot out faster than any arrow or ballista ever could. Zac's speed reached an all-time high as he launched his trump card attack.
The wyvern whined and tried to redirect its attention urgently back to Zac. However, it was too late. It had underestimated Zac too greatly and had left itself too open while focusing on the healer. If it had just another couple of seconds, the wyvern would be able to counter or block. But the wyvern's time had run out.
