Standing in the west wing of city hall, also known as the auction wing, Zac scanned over the day's catalog. "... Sorry, Nelphy, but I'm not seeing anything."
"What about tomorrow's auction?" asked Nelphy.
Nodding, Zac replied, "The catalog won't be finalized yet but we can check what's already listed."
Zac led Nelphy to one of the service counters. "Excuse me, can we see the week's catalog?"
"I've got catalogs for the next three days, but that's all," answered the receptionist, taking out three more sheets of paper. "Is there, perhaps, something in particular that you're searching for?"
"We're looking a for a water focus, preferably one that can double as a weapon," explained Zac.
"Hmm… That's a very specific, rare item. I haven't heard of any being listed recently, but give me a moment to double-check."
