Nelphy gathered some rolls while preparing to leave, but Bil insisted that she take all but two dozen. She wasn't able to say no so Nelphy gave her dad one more hug, getting a kiss on her forehead in return.
"Thanks, Dad, but I have to get going!" Nelphy scrambled toward the door.
Bil turned off the silent seal and waved goodbye. "No problem. Tell Jash I said hi, and that I wish him luck with his new job as a mercenary!"
Blinking, Nelphy stopped at the corner of the bar. "... How do you know about that?"
"Oh… Just word of mouth. Since Hath was the one giving his recommendation, Hath heard about Jash's interview from the city captain," explained Bil, chuckling to avoid further discussion.
"Okay. Then, I'll let him know. Good night!"
