Jash soon exited the guild hall, noticing that Nelphy and Zac had already left. He wanted to check in on her but was too tired to do much about it. So Jash went home, eager to get some good rest and for the moment Nelphy would trust him to talk about what happened.
Though Jash slept in, going to bed in the late afternoon left him waking up early in the morning. Yet Nelphy wasn't home.
Jash felt a little worrisome but was soon relieved when the front door unlocked and slowly opened up. "Oh, Jash. You're awake already?"
"Yeah, I went to bed early after a long night the day before," replied Jash. "And, Nora, welcome. What's going on?"
"Well… I stayed the night at Nora's. But we're both going to leave for Parnap's soon to quit… Since you're already up, can you come with us?"
Easing the tense expression on his face, Jash sighed, "Yeah. But have you two eaten yet?"
Nelphy replied, "No. I offered to make Nora breakfast since she let me crash at her apartment. Want some, Jash?"
