(BlackBlood) Gargoyles have certain characteristics about them that most of the other creatures do not, like their use of stone. Some turn to stone by the light of day, some can use that stone as a weapon or defense, like mine did.
Some as you can see have even more exotic traits about them, like intellectual methods of living, brute power and cunning, strong enough that some had taken over parts of our universe like this one here.
(Rigor) What does any of that have to do with this fight??
(BlackBlood) Everything. The information is to help you comprehend what you're about to see.
(Rigor) Yeah, yeah, yeah. We get it, these gargoyles are strong, but your gargoyle is not like them and Fiend isn't weak...
(BlackBlood) Oh. So you were expecting this???
The stone cracked open and it hissed loudly, shooting out steam causing a minor smoke screen. The silhouette of the stone suddenly crumbled down to the ground. Out stepped a totally different creature from before...
BlackBlood now donned a smirk of accomplishment. Her little creature needed a rest like no other. It was as if he hit a growth spurt overnight, before he was at her shoulders, but now he was looking down on her by at least almost a foot. His head was meaty and his brow was more prominent, he now had two rows of horns following the contours of his cheek bones...
His skin looked more refined; before it was a dull brown color with rough contours and small scales. Now his hide is more leather and shaded dark chocolate skin with his chest and shoulders growing a ton of girth. His legs sink the earth beneath his feet with each step as he approaches the elders. He's not their height, but the size of his extremities would prove that he will be one day if he survives today...
(Ogren) Ggggooo!!!!
Ogren pointed toward the forest's center. One arm directing to the center right and the other to the left center. Both creatures understood, causing Gargy to stomp off into the forest out of the sight of the crowd... Fiend darted off into the forest from the opposite direction. They would encounter each other soon...
Smoke rose from beneath the feet of the circle members and before they knew it they were floating up inside of the smoke clouds taking them above the forest where the fight was being held... The gargoyles were circling the forest like a pack of birds looking down upon prey....
Looking down upon the whole forest provided the group with a good look at the bout and both creatures were quickly approaching each other. But from different angles, the Hyena took to the tree tops and bounded from limb to limb stalking the area below...
Gargy was on the floor of the forest, walking in between the trees and following the scent of his enemy. He was moving with grave determination and everyone could sense the tension of the clash that would be taking place any second...
Both stopped in their tracks for a brief second and noticed the other. Fiend looked down, while Gargy stared up at the Hyena. Fiend made the first move...
Diving down from the tree limbs gaining Morse speed with each jump. Gargy standing in place beneath, awaiting his attack as if it wouldn't do any damage. But Fiend had built up so much momentum and force that he tilted his hand and showed that his blow had no choice but to be a clear power attack...
Fiend looked to be all in on his attack, -swooooobbbboooommmm- but at the very moment of impact, Gargy swiped a back claw at the Hyena so fierce and powerful it cut through the air and knocked a chunk out of the tree trunk...
But equally impressive was how Fiend kicked off of a tree trunk just in time to change his flight path and bounce to another tree while instantaneously embedding his claws into the tree trunk, swiveling himself around to another tree and leapt back up into the treetops...
(BlackBlood) Woa, Rigor I thought the battle was coming to an abrupt end just like that... Chi.. Chi.. Chi... But just as I thought that Hyena of yours is the real deal...
Rigor and the circle stood there in utter shock...
(Rigor) T... The hell just happened??? Did he have enough reaction speed and power to be faster than Fiend even after he's built up that much inertia??
Murmurs ran rampant throughout the circle, the deal on their lives hinged on Fiend beating Gargy and the eye test would show a tale of two tapes. Gargy had an unfathomable amount of strength for a Gargoyle of his age...
The mindset of the circle quickly sunk into a state of true despair. Witnessing the power of that gargoyle was so different from what they had seen in his previous fight, he didn't have this much strength nor reaction speed during the fight with Imps. Now their fears were slowly forming into their reality, right before their eyes...
Gargy stood at the bottom of the tree and pushed it all the way over. He then looked up and stared into the eyes of Fiend and inhaled deeply as he possibly could, then -Rrrrruaaaahhhh- Roaring at the top of lungs capacity, the area quaked and shuttered...
-Thoomb-thooomb-thoooomb- He was not finished with the theatrics, he stood there beating his chest and pointing towards the Hyena in a provocative manner.
Once he learned the Hyena wouldn't be moved by his actions, a switch must've gone off inside of the mind of Gargy. The strategy would change, he instantly stopped his provocations...
-Tomtomtomtomtom- immediately he would shoulder charge the tree base that the Hyena was stationed atop, causing it to crack in half and fold upon itself but the Hyena would jump to another tree and now Gargy would be forced to do it again...
This time Fiend would wait until Gargy was in the motion of charging and dive to another tree, then would use that momentum to dive down on Gargy in an attempt to get the jump, but Gargy wasn't surprised and swung at Fiend with a bolo haymaker...
The Hyena would duck under the blow just in time and stand on its hind legs. Coming from a downward angle -swwwoooohhh- in his own counter swipe would launch a full force swing. Fiend's claws sunk deep into the flesh of Gargy and the swipe would gouge out a chunk of flesh down to the breastplate of the gargoyle. Blood splattered the trees...
The Circle Members would cheer in astonishment as their despair was no more....
(Council Members) We knew Fiend was the better fighter!!! Kek. Kek.. Kek...
Finish that ugly bastard off!!!! Yeah eat him!!! Sink your teeth into him!!!!
