The landscape is serene, lusciously full canopies of trees, their leaves ranging from a furious red to a lightning blue and thick lavender vines and trunks, a circular water way filled with beautiful emerald green waters was the jewel of the forest, wildlife being as free as possible drinking from the same water source, eating from the same territories. No creature has to fear for its life, it has become home to many different types of beings.
The area is free of predation, it has been for many, many years and the land has flourished because of it. The rule was put into place by a young Artifact Hunter who was not only wise in his years but also someone of great strength and courage.... See when he took this place as his residence, there were many savage beasts roaming freely and the first rule was akin to Gargoyles, for after their arrival they were quickly atop of the food chain. Working in set clans and making new alliances while filtering out the weaker species of creatures in farming methods...
Intellectuals of the creatures, they had the whole area subservient and doing dirty deeds for them. They also battled with other lowly heroes who stumbled into their forest. The leader of the staunch bunch was Three Scar... A creature that can only be described as Pure Power, a brick chest, fists the size of melons. Oh and not to forget the very fiber of his being that detestable scar across his chest...It is his strength and most prized possession, see he garnered his name due to that Scar over 200 years now since the 'Druid Blackblood' named him...
200 years ago- - - -
The land wasn't as bountiful as it is now, the trees were living to die, dark gray moss hung from the branches that were often hollowed. There is very little vegetation, as not even the wind blowing spores wanted to be here, it is a dreadful place... Blood stained the foundation daily as the Druids used this place for sport and privatized hunting of creatures by Heroes of low morals. This place was the dead center of their planet, but the ruling Druids kept a barrier up so no person could easily stumble across their little oasis... It was an invitation only since they were the ruling force within the forest and on any regular day there could be as small as a group of 25 beings here at a time, but other days it can be as many as 100...
One day an unrecognizable Druid walked in with a young scrawny gargoyle who still had yet to be named; being given a name can give them extraordinary powers.. The Druid was petite in stature, her hair was made of deep Purple vines tangled, mangled and twisted and at the tips where it lay on her back the hair was burnt as if ash, but her face was astonishing, almost that of an Asura Goddess, she had dark reddish skin, & even her clothing stood apart, she donned Onyx robes with purple highlights along the seams, but as astonishing as it was there was a sinister & devilish aura surrounding her.
You see the difference was, her Pupils were richly colored with neon Red streaks as if bolts of lightning were inside them. Retinas could only be described as deep black pools of despair. If you look deep enough it's as if you can see the resentment she has for this world. Her eyes were menacing and some found themselves quickly enveloped in cold sweats just from locking gazes. They weren't normal eyes, it was as if they were living beings themselves or they carried souls within the eyes themselves, the eyes of a Creature of Old; No, These were the eyes of a Devil....
The little creature she had with her also, had a certain air about it, but the other Druids had seen their toys in combat, so they looked at it as only a new corpse to play with by their monstrosities of creatures, in their eyes this puny thing might not be worth the time so they heckled them....
"Where are you going with that little greenhorn gargy?? Tsk chiii chiii chii chii ..."
"Are you tired of its life force clinging to your side?"
"Hey you! We've never seen you at the Oasis before" They grumbled and taunted but all they got in return was a side glancing sneer out of Blackblood... She was very reserved in her demeanor but if looks could kill, all of them were just decapitated from her cutting black eyed stare, and even though it was brief they understood not to take her lightly. Blackblood continued forward with her stoic march toward the arena manager, which in turn meant they would pass by all the creatures set to battle and get a sense of physical stature and brute strength estimate.
"Snag(Bunyip) - Decent strength as its massive jaws would allude to. Its claws can hold any creature still as it prepares to sink in its tusks. Not particularly nimble or agile, but has enough to cause a problem..."
"Dredk(Devile Drake) - Strong powerful grip within its claws, has the bite to finish a fight; one head serves as the power aspect of the beast and the other becomes the defensive mechanism but known for identity crises in pressure situations. However, there aren't many creatures who obtain the necessary tools to take one of them down…."
"Seeg(Savage Gollum) - low strength but high speed moves and acrobatic slashes and ripper ferocity, it can strip away chunks of flesh in an instant..."
"Mhandy(Precious Troll) - slender creature with adapting skin, it can transform its skin into different textures to fit its needs, more of a sneak monster instead of a straightforward battle type... Odd we'll have to keep an eye on it..."
"Fiend(Sightless Hyena) - Hmm,, this can become problematic, I didn't expect to run into one of these here" she hadn't run into one of these monsters in over a century.." They shouldn't even be in this place" she thought. Who was strong enough to tame this beast????" A rare breed of creature with a dominant claw-point which feels vibrations like sonar of sorts, some say its senses are directly tied to the planet's core itself. They have no eyes, but are the deadliest hunters of these times; oh, not to mention they are the natural enemies to the Gargoyles. This one picked up its head as soon as they walked within its range of sense, the little gargy knew it within himself just how dangerous the situation became. But he did not break away from his calmness, to him it was something to look forward to..."
Those were the top creatures that she knew would be a hassle, but some of the other creatures looked impressive too....But still Blackblood felt she had the upper hand, she had every belief she knew what was going to befall the other creatures... As she was looking off into the battle area, she went off into a trance. Her eyes transformed from Black & Red to a Golden Lava... As her eyes bubbled she stood there frozen in time, but something was happening inside her consciousness. She had an astounding premonition and sense of death within her mind and for a couple of seconds she witnessed the aftermath of the Oasis Carnage Bath... Blood stained and covered the grounds, thunderous roars coming from the beast who was last standing, the vision was black - no faces but the tints and shades of blood stood out, it was so much blood that the water inside the Oasis was changed into a deep maroon color as it overflowed...
