I sat on the sofa beside him. I just watched him instead of the movie. He seemed to be an observer. I could tell he didn't like the movie but he nevertheless watched it with utmost concentration. He was rather analyzing what he saw and making logic out of it. This wasn't a fun activity but rather a research.
But what was he researching? What was he thinking right now? The movie ended and he smiled. Probably wasn't because of the tragedy ending though.
I was curious. I wouldn't ask though.
"So it was that feeling...uh? Now, what to do...?" He mumbled something out of context. I swear I knew the guy but I never knew him. Get what I mean?
"Oh. You're here. Like the film?"
"No." there was no use in lying. I didn't get to watch it full, thus if I said yes it would come off as a lie anyways.
"Good. Don't watch these types of movies. When did you get here btw?" Was he lecturing me now? The audacity from him.
"Not long ago." I just answered nonchalantly. But he just smiled meaningfully at me. But what was that for?
"Sure. Just don't watch this. The start is scary~. When are you leaving anyways? I have plans tonight." He asked seriously this time from his tone. A bit surprised that he did not find this scary enough but mention that the start is even more horrifying.
