Chapter 1 - Chapter One: iCarly.

Principal Franklin was in his office, he has a piece of paper in his hand and he was laughing at the picture that was plastered on it. He leaned back and was laughing as he looked away for a moment then back at the picture. Then the door opens when an older woman with red hair with glasses came in, her name is Ms. Briggs. She was a teacher here at Ridgeway High. Principal Franklin quickly stopped laughing, placed the paper down on his desk, and sat up straight.

Ms. Briggs smiled at Principle Franklin and then turned to the open space. "Carly, get in here, right now," she demanded, snapping her fingers at Carly.

Carly Shay came into Principal Franklin's with a blank face—Carly Shay is an average teenage girl, with black shoulder-length hair with a slight tan, and pink-colored cheeks.

"Have a seat," Principle Franklin said, pointing to the seats in front of him.

Carly walked in further and sat down in one of the chairs while Ms. Briggs walked over to the door and closed it.

"So, I understand you put some fliers up all over the school?" he asked while Ms. Briggs stood next to Principle Franklin.

Carly nodded. "Yes, I did," she said, but it was a lie.

"Why would you Photodoc my head into the body of a rhinoceros?" Ms. Briggs asked out of anger.

"Well, I—" Carly started to say.

"Rhinoceros? Oh, no, no, no," Principle Franklin interrupted. "She made you a hippopotamus."

"No, no. She's a rhinoceros," Carly corrected Principle Franklin. "A hippo has fatter thighs and a wider snout."

Ms. Briggs interrupted them. "What does it matter?" she asked them, looking between the two of them before settling her eyes on Carly. "I think we should call her father in to discuss this."

"Um, my dad's stationed in Europe right now," Carly said.

"He's in the military," Principle Franklin interjected.

Ms. Briggs looked at Principle Franklin. "Well, there must be some adult in charge of her," she said.

"My older brother, Spencer," Carly said.

"Oh, yes, the artist," Ms. Briggs said bitterly while she walked around Carly.

Carly turned around to look at Ms. Briggs. "He's a great artist," she said, defending her older brother.

"Look, we don't need to call her brother in about this," said Principal Franklin. "I'm sure that you can come up with a suitable punishment."

Ms. Briggs chuckled. "Fine," she said, thinking of the perfect punishment for Carly. She walked in front of Carly with a smirk on her lips. "You know, Carly, I am in charge of the talent show this year."

"Yeah, you're holding auditions on Saturday," Carly said.

"No, you are," Ms. Briggs corrected Carly.

"Huh?!" Carly exclaimed.

"I will be enjoying my Saturday while you videotape the auditions for me," Ms. Briggs said, getting out a piece of paper with the list of students' names on it.

Carly shot up from the chair. "No! I'm going to see Cuddlefish play live at the Hawthorne on Saturday," she said, taking the piece of paper from Ms. Briggs hand.

"Not anymore," Ms. Briggs said with fake sympathy.

"Aw, come on!" Carly groaned.

"It's what you get for turning me into a hippopotamus," Ms. Briggs said.

"Rhinoceros," Carly muttered.

"Get out!" yelled Ms. Briggs, pointing to the closed door.

"Right," Carly said before running out of Principal Franklin's office.

Some students were walking to class and other students were talking to each other, and one student, in particular, a girl named Sam Puckett—she has long, wavy, blond hair with an average build. Sam pushed a kid against the lockets. "Ah! Let me go!" said the boy.

"Say you're sorry," Sam said.

"I'm sorry!" he said in a panic.

"And what are you sorry for?" Sam asked.

"For saying you're aggressive!" he said.

Carly entered the school and saw Sam beating up the kid, she sighed as she walked over to her best friend.

"And what am I, again?" Sam asked.

"Pretty and sweet!" he said.

"Thank you! Now the next time—" Sam started to say when Carly pulled on her hair, dragging her to their lockers on the other side of the building. "Ow! Hair, hair, hair."

"Hi!" Carly said loudly.

"Did you get in trouble?" Sam asked.

"Of course, I got in trouble!" Carly said. "Teachers get upset when you put their heads on the bodies of big, fat animals! I can't believe I let you talk me into taking the blame for you!"

"You had to. I've already been suspended once this semester. If I'd gotten busted they'd have expelled me," Sam explained to her best friend.

"Well, here's an idea," Carly said gently.

"What?" Sam asked, clueless.

"Stop doing bad things!" Carly yelled at Sam. Carly puts her combination into her locker.

"Okay. Chillax." Same leaned against the lockers.

"I will not chillax!" Carly said, opening her locker. "And get excited, 'cause you and I get to spend our entire Saturday here videotaping kids auditions for the talent show." Showed her the list of kids for the auditions.

"Whatev," Sam said casually.

Carly took out a book for her next class and closed her locker then looked at Sam. "You know, anybody but me would punch you right in the head," she said.

"Which is why you are my best friend," Sam said proudly.

"Good to know. Now, why are you mine?" Carly asked. Walking away as Sam followed her.

"Because I'm a lovable person," Sam said then pushing the kid into the lockers which caused him to fall onto the ground, and his two friends peered over him.

Carly walked into her apartment complex, called: Bushwell Plaza. She went into her bag to find the apartment key when her water bottle fell from her and that's when she has her keys in her hand. She was about to bend over to pick up the water bottle but a door opened and a boy came rushing out and picked up the water bottle. This boy's name is Freddie Benson, he lives across from the Shay's.

"You dropped this!" Freddie said, holding the bottle in front of Carly with a bright smile on his face.

"Um, thanks, but you really—" Carly started to say before she got interrupted.

"I was gonna walk you home from school but I couldn't find ya," Freddie said. "Hey!" he waved excitedly.

Carly looked down for a moment before looking at Freddie. "Freddie, were you looking out your peephole waiting for me to come home?" she asked.

"No!" Freddie said, shaking his head trying to lie to her.

"Freddie," Carly said firmly.

"Yes," Freddie said instantly.

"I thought we talked about this. We can be buds, but you gotta get over this crush thing," Carly said gently.

"I am over it. Seriously. I'm in love with you. You just wanna be friends. And I'm totally cool living with that constant pain," Freddie said.

"Oh, god," Carly said, rolling her eyes with a smile. She turned and puts her key in and unlocked the door, walking into her apartment.

Shay's apartment wasn't a normal one, with Spencer's sculptures all over the apartment. Carly walked into the apartment and Freddie stood in the hallway. "I'm home," Carly called out to her older brother, Spencer Shay.

"Hey, kiddo! Up here," Spencer called out and waved his arm out, he was up on the wooden bars on the ceiling. Carly looked up and was confused on why her brother was hanging on the wooden bars. "Just taking some pics of my robot sculpture," he explained. "Smile!" he said to his robot then took a picture of it. "Yeah."

"You know, for most eighth grade girls, if they came home and found their 26-year-old brother danging upside down from the ceiling over a giant robot made out of soda bottles, it'd be weird," Carly said with a playful smile.

Spencer lowered half of his body. "You're saying I"m abnormal," he said calmly.

"Do I need to say it?" Carly asked. "Come down from there before you hurt yourself."

"No worries. I got my leg wrapped around this pipe—Ah!" Spencer said before accidentally releasing his leg from the pipe and dropping onto the floor, landing face down on the floor. "Please help me stand up."

Carly shook her head and walked toward her brother and helped him to stand up on his feet. "Are you all right?" she asked.

"Yea—nope," Spencer said as he rolled his shoulder. "I dislocated my shoulder again," he said, pain in his voice. "One sec." He jumped and fell onto the floor and quickly got up. "Yeah, that fixed her." He picked up a soda bottle and sat down on the couch.

"Good. So listen, I need a favor," Carly said.

"Shoot," Spencer said.

"I have to tape a bunch of auditions at school on Saturday," Carly explained.

"Fun," he said.

"Yeah, not really. Anyway, would you let me borrow your video camera?" she asked.

"I would," Spencer said.

"Awesome," she said, happily.

"Though I can't," he said.

"Why not?" she asked, confused.

Spencer laughed, he got up and turned around to pick up his video camera, and show her what he has done. He had turned it into a squirrel. "I made it into a squirrel," he said with a straight face.

Carly was at the school, she walked into the auditorium with a bag on her shoulder and a cell phone in her hand. "I told you the front doors would be locked," she said through the phone to Sam. "You gotta go around the blue doors in back—" She set her blanket and bag down in the chair, looking up and over at Freddie's setup. "Oh, my God."

"What do you think of my equipment?" Freddie asked, he has a lot of equipment that was set up in the auditorium.

"I just asked to borrow your video camera," Carly said, looking impressed. "What is all this?"

"Well, that's a three-chip, high-def camcorder with a hyper-cardioid condenser microphone. Mounted on a carbon fibee tripod with a low-drag fluid head," Freddie explained. "I also brought you juice and a bagel." He lifted up a tray with a bagel and orange juice with a yellow sunflower in a small tube.

Sam walked in with her book bag and a cup of coffee. "Hey, you invited the doof," she said.

"Sam," Carly said.

"Aw, man!" Freddie groaned, setting the tray down on the table. "I didn't know that was gonna be here."

"She. I'm a she, Freddie, as in 'girl'," Sam said.

"Just keep your hands off my AV equipment," Freddie said.

"You mean I can't play with the white balance on your super-dee duper-dee camcorder?" Sam said sarcastically.

"Ah, sure! Everyone jokes about the white balance 'til the skin tones go magenta…," Freddie said defensively.

Sam took a step closer, clearing her throat. "Carly will never love you," she said, trying to make Freddie mad.

Freddie slammed his hand on the table. "That's it!" He walked to get all of his equipment. "I'm taking my stuff and I'm going home!"

"Please stay," Carly said in a sweet voice, taking a few steps toward Freddie.

Freddie stopped what he was doing, giving Carly a sweet smile. "Okay," Freddie smiled then he felt ashamed for giving in so easy.

Sam looked over at Carly and rolled her eyes, she couldn't believe that Freddie was so easy. It was kind of pathetic in a way.

Carly and Sam sat at the table while Freddie was pointing the camera at the stage. "Okay, Jeb, you ready to audition?" Carly asked.

"Yeah. I will be performing a scene from a French play called Là où est ma femme," said Jeb with a smile.

"Okay," Sam said, looking weirded out.

"We don't know what that means, but knock us out," Carly said, looking back at Freddie. "Rolling?"

"Uh…rolling," Freddie said as he looked through the lens and started recording Jeb.

Jeb cleared his throat. "But…but where did she go?" he asked in a French accent. Then he puts a fake mustache under his nose, turning to the other side. "I don't know." He puts the fake mustache to his side and went to the other side. "But when will she be back?" Returned to the other side, putting on that fake mustache. "I don't know!" Putting the fake mustache down, going to the other side and he held out his hand. "Well, where can I find her?" He puts the fake mustache back on, going to the other side. "I tell you, I do not know!" He finally stopped and turned to face the three friends, smiling wide.

They stared at Jeb for a long moment before Sam clapped at the performance with a fake smile on their faces. "Okay!" said Carly.

"Nice job!" said Sam.

Then Jeb ran off the stage still with a smile on his face.

Sam turned to Carly. "What'd you think?" she asked.

"I don't know!" Carly said in a French accent.

"You don't know?!" Sam asked in return with a French accent.

"I tell you, I do not know!" Carly said, still in the French accent.

"But you must know!" Sam said.

"How can I know when I do not know?" Carly asked.

"I don't know," Sam said.

A girl was now on stage, she was sitting down on a metal chair and she was playing a piece on her acoustic violin. Sam was wide-eyed as she was fighting to keep her eyes open and Carly on the other hand she had fallen asleep completely in her seat. Sam looked over at her best friend and couldn't believe that she had fallen asleep.

Another girl came on stage with a proud smile on her face. "I will play the trumpet," Taryn said.

"Great," Carly said, not really interested.

"Nice," Sam said in a bland voice.

The girl walked down the stairs and picked up a pogo stick. "While hopping on this pogo stick," Taryn said.

Sam and Carly looked at each other with a smile on their face, Freddie perked up at this as well. Taryn got on the pogo stick and got a handle on it then she lifted the trumpet to her lips and started playing it. Sam and Carly stood up and started clapping their hands.

"That's what I'm talking about!" Carly said, looking impressed.

"Great job!" said Sam.

"You go, girl! Yeah!" said Carly

"Pogo-tastic!" said Sam.

"That's awesome!" said Carly.

"Jump and blow!" Sam cheered on.

Now a blond boy was now on a stage with a microphone in his mouth. "So the doc says, 'Why'd you wait so long to bring her in?' So I say, 'I liked the eggs.'" Then he started laughing uncontrollably. Sam and Carly started fake laughing along with the blond kid, the blond kid kept laughing as he walked off stage.

"That's awesome," Carly said, clapping her hands.

"Thanks," Sam said.

"Not that funny," Carly said, she stopped laughing.

"No, no, not at all," Sam agreed. "But forget that." Sam slammed her hands on the table and got up off the chair, walking toward the stage. "Can we please discuss the boy's hair and glasses?" She turned to look at Carly. "He looks like Miss Briggs."

Carly stood up and placed her hands on the table. "Yeah, except he doesn't have Miss Briggs' crazy pointy boobs," she said, laughing.

Freddie pointed the camera at Sam and Carly when Sam came over to stand in front of Carly.

"I know! Sam agreed. "What is up with those?"

"It's like she stuffs waffle cones in her bra," Carly joked, laughing.

"Totally! She could poke an eye out with one of those things," Sam joked, laughing as well.

"Okay, okay, we better keep going," Carly said, looking down at the audition sheet. "We've still got 11 more kids to see."

"No," Sam groaned, throwing her head back. "Eleven?"

"Calm down. They can't get worse," Carly said. She was speaking too soon on that, it was totally getting worse with every audition.

The next kid who auditioned—his name is Wesley—was beat-boxing was bad—Carly, Sam, and Freddie have opened their mouths in disbelief at how bad it was. "And I was wrong," Carly said, numbly. Wesley kept on beat-boxing badly until Sam and Carly told him to stop.

Sam and Carly were back at the apartment, both were sleeping on the couch while a cartoon was playing in the background. Carly woke up and looked at the time, it was late and she looked over at Sam. "Sam," she said, trying to wake her up. "Sam," she tried again then she lifted up her foot and tapped her on the cheek, shaking her awake. "Wake up!" Carly sat up and was sitting next to Sam.

Sam yawned, looking at Carly. "What time is it?" she asked.

"Late. What time is your mom coming to pick you up?" Carly asked, taking off the blanket and setting it aside.

"She's not. I told her you invited me to spend the night," Sam answered, picking up bottled water.

"I didn't invite you to spend the night," Carly said, standing up and walking to the computer on the counter.

"Well, you should 'cause I'm not leaving," Sam said, taking a sip of the water. "What you doing?"

"Checking to make sure Freddie put the auditions online," Carly answered. "I told Miss Briggs we'd upload 'em on SplashFace tonight so she could watch 'em in the morning."

"I kind of hate Miss Briggs," Sam said while stretching. "Remember when she called me a demon?"

"No!" Carly screamed.

"Oh, yeah," Sam said, totally oblivious. "When I put that raw chicken in her purse—" She was about to launch into a story before she got interrupted by Carly.

"Shut up and come look at this!" Carly said.

"What? Freddie didn't upload the auditions?" Sam asked, walking over to Carly.

Carly turned to look at Sam, horrified. "No! He uploaded us!" she said.

"What?" Sam asked.

"Look!" Carly said, pointing to the screen and pressing play on the video.

"That's you and me!" Sam said, watching the video.

"Sure is!" Carly agreed.

"He wasn't supposed to film us!" Sam cried out. "We were being all goofy and acting like idiots all day!"

"Oh, my God," Carly said, looking at Sam. "We made fun of Miss Briggs and her crazy pointy boobs."

"Whoa, if she sees that—" Sam started to say.

"Anyone can see it! It's on SplashFace!" Carly said.

"Okay, okay, chillax," Sam said. "Look, see the view count? Only 27 people have clicked on it."

"Oh. Okay, good," Carly breathed out, leaning in to look at the video and the view count. "Sam?"

"Yeah?" Sam said.

"That's 27,000!" Carly yelled in her ear and Sam fell to the ground. Carly looked at the video and the view count and was panicking once again.

Freddie was screaming as Sam tugged him out of his bed. "Quit it, Sam! Let go of my foot! Too much friction! Let go!" Freddie yelled to Sam as Sam kept tugging at him and letting go in the middle of the living room, he stood up and pointed a finger at Sam. "What is the matter with you?!"

"Why'd you film us at the auditions today?" Carly asked.

"Oh. 'Cause you guys were being funny," Freddie answered.

"Well, you shouldn't have put us online without our permission!" Sam said.

"I didn't! I edited you guys out before I uploaded the auditions," said Freddie as he walked toward the computer and sat down in the chair.

"No, you did the opposite of that!" said Carly.

"What? There's no way I—" said Freddie then his eyes went wide. "Uh-oh."

"Yeah," said Sam

"Just take us off the site!" Carly demanded.

"Okay, okay! Just give me a sec," Freddie said.

"Oh, this is so not good," Carly said, walking back and forth in a panic state. "Anyone, anyone in the world can just click and see everything we did and said today."

"It's so embarrassing. And if Miss Briggs—" Sam started to say.

"Don't even talk about it. If she—" Carly started to say.

"Ha! Got it," said Freddie. "See? It says, 'At your request, this video will be removed.'"

"Good!" said Carly.

"Finally," said Sam.

"Tomorrow morning," said Freddie.

"Ugh, great," said Carly.

"Aw, man!" said Sam.

"Do you know how many more thousands of people can view it by then?" Carly asked.

"Alright! Look, before you get all freaked out, SplashFace has message boards," said Freddie.

"So?" said Carly and Sam.

"So, let's see what people are saying about the video. Um, okay, here's one. 'Carly, you and your friend Sam crack me up. Funny stuff.'" Freddie read one comment.

"Great, so one kid—" Carly said.

"Wait," Freddie stopped her. "SlackerBoy314 writes, 'Carly and Sam, you chicks are hilarious. When's your next show?' And this kid says, 'You guys are way better than most of the puke here on SplashFace.'"

"Wow. They love us," said Sam with a hint of shock in her voice.

"Yeah!" said Carly who looked at Sam. "More than puke."

Carly and Sam were at Ridgeway on Monday morning, Carly was pacing back and forth. "Where's Miss Briggs? What if she saw it?" Carly said.

"Video was off by yesterday morning," Sam said, calmly.

"What if she saw it before that?" Carly said in a panic.

"It was Sunday. She was probably in church," Sam said, trying to be hopeful.

"What church would let Miss Briggs in the door?" Carly asked.

Sam and Carly saw Ms. Briggs coming down the stairs and the two girls straighten up when Ms. Briggs came over to them. "Hello, Carly. Samantha." She smiled at them.

"Howdy," said Sam.

"Morning, Miss Briggs," said Carly. "Um, we had some trouble putting the video online, so here's a DVD of every kid who auditioned on Saturday." She flashed Miss Briggs the DVD with a smile on her face.

Miss Briggs took the DVD from Carly's hand. "Thank you," she said.

"Sure," Carly said.

"I'll try not to poke a hole in this with my pointy bosoms," Miss Briggs said coldly to the two girls.

The two girls looked at each other, face full of guilt. "She saw the video," said Sam.

"We're so sorry," Carly said to Miss Briggs.

Miss Briggs started to walk away from Sam and Carly with the DVD in hand.

"Miss Briggs?" Carly called out to her, turning around to catch up to her.

"What?" Miss Briggs said nastily, turning around to face Carly.

"I typed up a list of the kids who we think should be in the talent show," Carly said, giving her the typed piece of paper to Miss Briggs.

Miss Briggs snatched the paper out of Carly's hand and looked at it. "Snorting milk? Pogo stick hopping? These aren't talents," she said, dismissing it.

Carly took the paper back into her hands. "They were the most fun to watch," said Sam.

Miss Briggs scoffed and waved her hand. "Goodbye," she said, she walked toward the staff room.

"Wait, so you're not gonna let any of the kids we picked be in the show?" Carly asked in disbelief.

"That's right. Girls," Miss Briggs said with a delighted smile and closed the door of the staff room.

Wesley—the guy who was beat-boxing—came over to Sam and Carly who was still beat-boxing into a microphone, they turned around with an angry expression on their faces.

"No one enjoys that!" Carly yelled at him. He stopped for a couple of seconds then shrugged and walked away, beat-boxing once again.

Carly walked into the apartment, leaving the door open. "I am so mad!" yelled out Carly.

Sam came in right behind her. "Me, too," said Sam, closing the door behind her. "I need some ham." She walked in further and set her bag down on the couch, walking into the kitchen.

"Seriously, Miss Briggs is the worst!" said Carly angrily.

"You don't gotta convince me," said Sam. "I hated her even after she got that brown lump removed from her nose." She looked back at Carly and then opened up the fridge door, peering inside it.

Someone knocked on the door and Carly peered in the peephole, opening the door. "I'll tell you something," said Carly. "She is what's wrong with the world."

"Who's what's wrong with the world?" asked Freddie.

"Miss Briggs," said Carly, walking away from Freddie.

"Oh," was all Freddie said. "Well, hey, at least she got that brown lump taken off of her nose," he commented as he fully walked into her apartment.

"I just hate it when adults like her get to control what kids can do and see," Carly said, grabbing a glass off of the counter and putting it on the island. "It ticks me off." She turned and opened the fridge door.

"Why do they put a bone right in the middle of a ham?" asked Sam, trying to get get some of the ham off.

Carly has a glass jug in her hand, turning around with a grin on her face. "Hey, remember all that stuff those kids wrote about us on the message boards?" she asked.

"Yeah," said Sam, looking at Carly.

"Things like, 'You guys should upload more videos,' and, 'When's your next show?' And, 'We want more.' Let's give 'em more," said Carly with a smile.

"More?" Freddie questioned.

"Okay, what are we talking about here?" asked Sam.

"Doing a web show, online, every week," Carly explained.

"Why?" asked Sam.

"'Cause it can be whatever we want it to be, no adults to say, 'You can do this. You can't do that.' We can do whatever we want, say whatever we want," Carly said.

"Would it mean I have to do, like, work and stuff?" asked Sam, making a face.

"Well, if you're gonna do it, you gotta prepare for it," said Carly, laughing.

"Eh, then make it your show," said Sam, eating small pieces of ham. "You do the work, I'll just show up and be your amusing little sidekick."

"Wait, what's the show gonna be about?" asked Freddie.

"Anything. Something different every week," Carly explained even more. "But for the first show, kids with bizarro talents."

"Ah, clever," Sam said, getting excited. "Miss Briggs says, 'No, no no.' We say, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah."

Freddie leaned over and took a piece of ham. "Hey, why don't you guys call your show iCarly. You know, 'i,' Internet, 'Carly,' you," he explained.

"I like it," Sam agreed to Freddie's suggestion—which is surprising.

"iCarly's cool," Carly agreed as well.

"And um, you're gonna need a technical producer, right?" Freddie asked. "To set up the lights, audio, work the camera…"

"Aw, he wants to be our geek," Sam interjected.

"You got a big mouth, lady," Freddie growled at Sam.

Spencer came in with a mannequin in his arms. "Hey! Look what someone just left in the dumpster," he said excitedly. "Isn't she amazing?!"

Carly, Sam, and Freddie ran over to Spencer. "Hey, can we use the third floor as kind of a TV studio?" she asked.

"Well, I don't know—" Spencer started to answer.

"Thanks!" said Carly.

"You rock," said Sam.

"Later!" said Freddie.

All three friends ran up the stairs to the third floor of her apartment, Spencer watched them. "Wait, I didn't say— Why do you— Okay, later!" he called out to them.

Carly ran out of her bedroom and into the kitchen, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge, and taking a sip of her water.

"52 seconds!" yelled Freddie—who was on the third floor.

"Sam, come on!" yelled Carly to Sam, pressing the elevator button.

"Sorry, I had to pee!" Sam said, who came running out of the bathroom and into the elevator that opened.

"You always have to pee," shot Carly.

"Well, it's either that or I explode," Sam shot back then pushed the button to the third floor.

"45 seconds!" yelled Freddie once again.

"We're on our way up!" yelled Carly up to Freddie. "You know what to do?" she asked Sam.

Sam rolled her eyes. "Yes," she answered.

"We sit together, me on the left, you on the right. Camera opens on the sign, pans down to me. We chat with all the kids with weird talents," Sam and Carly said in unison.

"You got it?" Carly asked.

"I'm down," Sam said.

They both got out of the elevator and Carly tossed her drink to Freddie as he set it down on the cart while Sam grabbed the remote for the iCarly show. "20 seconds," said Freddie.

"Here we go," Carly said as she ran into the middle of the studio with Sam right behind Carly.

"I look good?" asked Sam.

"Perfect. Me?" asked Carly.

"Uh, well, you got something in your teeth," said Sam.

"What?! Get it out!" Carly shirked while Sam tried to get it out of her teeth.

"Five! Four! Three! Two, and—" Freddie yelled over the two shirking girls then the two girls straightened up and smiled to the camera in Freddie's arm.

"Hey, there, people of Earth. I'm Carly Shay, and this is our very first webcast of a little show we call iCarly," Carly said, introducing their new webcast.

"She's Carly," Sam said, introducing her best friend.

"She's Sam," said Carly, introducing her.

"Sam I am," said Sam goofily.

"Carly, Sam," said Carly.

"I think they're clear," said Sam.

"Demonstrate the thing," said Carly, pointing to the remote in Sam's hand.

"Oh, yeah! With this item," Sam held up the remote, "provided by our dorky friend, Freddie..."

"That's disrespectful!" yelled Freddie, pointing at Sam.

"We can do this...," said Sam, pressing a button on the remote which actives an audience cheering. "...and this." She pressed another button which actives an audience groaning. "And this..." She pressed another button which actives rock music playing and Sam and Carly started dancing to the music then Sam pressed the button to stop the music.

"Okay. Tonight, we're gonna show you some kids with super insane talents," said Carly.

"Freak show!" Sam sang out.

"Stop it," Carly whispered into Sam's ear while they both stood in front of a car, standing beside next to a small table with half a glass of milk. "Okay, this first kid we're gonna show you can take a glass of milk..." Carly started to explain.

"This is so deliciously gross," Sam commented.

"Snort the milk up into his nose," Carly said with excitement in her voice.

"Best thing ever," Sam said with a smile.

"And make the milk squirt out of his eyes," said Carly.

"I wanna marry this boy!" yelled Sam

"Let's bring him out," said Carly. "Simon Kendall!"

"You're up, dude!" said Sam.

They both moved out of the way and Simon Kendall came out and waved to the camera while Sam pressed the button making the audience cheer for him. He stood next to the glass of milk.

"Okay, Simon, you ready to blow people away with your freakish talent?" asked Carly.

"Do it!" said Sam aggressively.

"Let's go," said Simon.

"Drum roll," said Carly, and Sam pressed a button that actives the drum roll sound, and Freddie pointed the camera at Simon.

Simon picked up the glass of milk and poured some of the milk into his hand, setting the glass down on the small table, and snorted up the milk in his nose then with his other hand, he pulled the bottom lids of his eyes and milk squirted out of his eye.

"Okay, this is insane!" said Sam.

"Tell the people your name," said Carly to the boy who is in the middle of the two girls.

"Brennan Yubberly," he said, introducing himself to the camera.

"Yeah, Yubberly!" Sam cheered.

"Okay, any word you say, Brennan can say backward perfectly," Carly explained.

"He's a backwards talker," said Sam.

"Check this out," said Carly. "Ointment."

"Tnenmtnio," said Brennan with a smile.

"Yes! Okay, uh, slippery watermelon," said Sam, getting excited.

"Yreppils nolemretaw," said Brennan.

"Do you hear this?" Carly asked, impressed.

"We love this boy!" said Sam.

"Okay, okay! Say, 'I must be from planet Jupiter because there's no other way I could be saying all this backwards!'" Carly challenged Brennan.

"I tsum eb morf tenalp retipuJ esucaceb s'ereht on rehto yaw I dluoc eb gniyas lla siht adrawkcab," said Brennan with a smirk.

Both girls looked at each other and screamed at how he could say all of that backwards. "Did you hear that?" Carly asked Sam in disbelief.

"Insanity!" Sam yelled out to the camera.

"Ytinasni!" said Brennan.

"That's enough, Brennan," said Sam.

"Yeah! Great Job! Wonderful!" said Sam while a girl and her goat walked off the little platform in the studio. "Well, looking at that goat made me hungry!"

"Well, you can eat soon, 'cause the very first webcast of iCarly is almost over," said Carly.

Sam pressed a button on the remote which actives the audience's groaning sound, Sam pouted at the camera.

"No, no, don't be sad," said Carly. "We still got one more kid with a weird talent. But first—"

"Here's some stuff you need to know," said Sam, pointing to the camera.

"If you liked our show, tell your friends," said Carly.

"Your cousins, people you like," said Sam.

"People you hate," said Carly.

"All people of this planet," said Sam.

"That we're gonna be here, live, online, every week at iCarly.com," said Carly.

"In fact, next week, Carly's gonna take my tonsils out right here," said Sam, jokingly.

"She's lying," said Carly with a soft chuckle.

"But how awesome would that be?" Sam asked. "Oh! And if you wanna send us a video…"

"…Of you doing or saying anything cool," said Carly.

"Telling a joke, eating a bug," said Sam.

"Just email the video clip to us," said Carly.

"Carly and me," said Sam.

"Me and Sam," said Carly.

"At iCarly. com," said Sam.

"And if it's cool enough…," said Carly.

"We'll show it right here on iCarly," said Sam.

"Okay, our last freakishly talented kid's name is Taryn James and she's about to play us out," said Carly.

"With her trumpet," said Sam.

"But with a little extra twist," said Carly. "Hit the button. Get out here, Taryn!"

Sam and Carly went to the side to give room for Taryn James to come out with her trumpet and pogo stick while Sam pressed the cheering button. Taryn got onto the pogo stick and then started playing the trumpet, Sam and Carly started clapping and cheering on Taryn.

"Will you look at that!" said Sam.

"It seems impossible," said Carly.

"That is so cool!" said Sam. "I wish I could do that! Come on, let's go!"

Sam and Carly joined in as they both jumped up and down next to Taryn.

"Yeah! Well, thanks for watching!" said Carly.

"Yeah!" said Sam. "Tune in next time!"

"Oh, my gosh! This is so much fun!" said Carly.

"And we're clear!" said Freddie, ending the web show.

"Yes! We did it!" cheered Sam.

Sam, Carly, Freddie, and Taryn all cheered and hugged in one big group with smiles on their faces. They were all complimenting on how amazing Taryn was on her pogo stick and her trumpet playing.

The three friends were downstairs, Freddie was sitting in the chair while Carly and Sam were on either side of him. "Oh, here it is!" said Freddie.

"How many?" asked Carly, getting excited.

"37,000!" cried Freddie.

The three of them screamed with pure excitement and jumped that their first ever web show was such a hit. Spencer came out of his room and shrugged, jumping in the celebration.

"Why are we happy?" Spencer asked.

"'Cause our very first web show rocked!" said Carly.

"And was watched by over 37,000 people!" said Sam.

"Get out!" said Spencer, wrapping his arm around Carly and pulling her in for a hug. "My baby sister's a web star!"

"Hey, we should have a party, you know, to celebrate," suggested Sam to the group.

"Yeah, that'd be so cool," said Carly.

"That'd be so tight!" said Freddie.

"Yes, yes we should," said Spencer. "But it shouldn't be a normal, regular party."

"Oh, no," said Carly with a playful tone.

"It needs to be something different, something...wonderfully random," said Spencer.

"Crazy hat party?" Carly guessed and Spencer snapped his fingers with a smile on his lips.

Carly has invited some of her friends from school and the people who were on her web show, and they were wearing all types of crazy hats, some were wearing hats from the '70s, a jokers hat, hats that has earflaps on them, elf hats, some that glow up, and a gladiators hat.

"Hey, cupcake," said Sam with long, red devil horns that were wearing on her head.

"There you are! Nice hat," said Carly, who was wearing a blue, sparkly cowboy hat.

"Back at ya," said Sam.

"Hi. Um, can we get your autographs?" said a girl and her sister with notepads and pens in their hands.

"We love iCarly," said the little sister.

"Your web show," said the older sister.

"Um, sure," said Carly.

"No prob," said Sam.

Sam and Carly took the pens and signed the sister's notepads, the sisters were both happy and excited that they got autographs from Sam and Carly, and they handed the pens to the sisters.

"There you go," said Carly with a smile.

"There," said Sam with a smile.

"Thanks," said the older sister.

"Sure," said Carly.

"I love you, Carly," said the little sister, hugging Carly, and the two sisters walked away from each two.

"Wow. I just signed an autograph," said Carly, turning to Sam.

"Get used to it. iCarly's a great show," said Sam. "You might get famous." She playfully punched Carly's shoulder.

"Yeah, I don't know if I'm gonna like that," said Carly, admitting to Sam.

"Hey," said a boy, getting Carly's and Sam's attention. "Saw your web show. Pretty hot."

Carly looked at Sam with a smirk on her lips then back at the two attractive boys. "Um, thanks," said Carly.

"Yeah, thanks a lot," said Sam.

"So, you guys wanna dance?" said the first boy.

"Yes," said Carly way too quickly.

"Cool, let's do it," said the first boy.

Carly turned to Sam. "I'm gonna like it," she said with a smile.

A boy started laughing as he took Spencer's mannequin in his arms while running away from Spencer. "Hey! Hey, stop that!" yelled Spencer. "Put her down! She's not for you! Get off! How pitiful! Who invited you?!" They both ran around the apartment living room and kitchen. Everyone was dancing to the song that was playing on the radio, they were having an amazing time.
