Long after the sunset flickered goodnight on the horizon. Stars glittered in the dark night sky. Not one cloud was above us. Only the stars shone like bright diamonds and sapphires.
"This is a perfect night to watch the meteor shower," I told Orlando on the blanket beside me.
"There is only one thing that makes this night perfect for me," Orlando whispered and I turned my sight to him smiling.
"And what makes this night perfect for you?" I smilingly asked him.
"Having you with me to share it with," Orlando replied so romantically.
Those ocean-blue eyes dazzled me like a colorful tidal wave. There wasn't any way I could stop my dimples from blushing a sheer peach.
"I should have figured you'd say something like that," I chuckled and tried acting like it didn't affect me but honestly it melted my heart into a puddle.
"I'm being honest," Orlando caressed my hand on the blanket when he spilled his heart out.
"I know, Orlando," I smiled heartily. "Thank you for cheering me up."
Orlando giggled, "of course, even before we officially dated. We've always done something fun like this."
"And Alejandro hasn't changed from picking up random girls every time. Even from when I first met him," I stated and we both laughed on key together.
"I don't think he'll ever deviate from being a player and tie the knot," Orlando chuckled.
"Maybe someday he'll grow up and find that special lady he'll wanna keep," I giggled and Orlando faced me again.
"Perhaps, he will," he muttered and I got lost in those magical eyes of his again. Something about his eyes always captured me. It's like swimming in the deep ocean.
The only thing that made me turn away was a single meteor shot across the sky. I looked up and another one shimmered by. Below us, from across the lake even more flew by until they disappeared. The sight was spectacular to witness something so glorious.
"I love watching this," I uttered softly.
"I know you always loved the clear nights," Orlando smiled at me from the corner of my eye, I caught him gazing at only me.
Then this chilly breeze hit my flesh. Each hair on my arm stood straight up. My body shivered and I just now remembered I forgot to bring a jacket.
Seeing me shivering against the cold. Orlando scooped me in his arms. For a second there was tension but then I relaxed back into his warmth.
"It is so beautiful," I utterly whisper as I stare up at the starry night flickering with meteors while I relax back into Orlando's vast torso.
"You're so much more beautiful," Orlando whispered into my right ear. I slanted my head up at those eyes and he gazed at me with the gentlest expression. Our faces leaned forward like this magnetic pole and we touched lips and kissed solely as one.
Gradually, his tongue pushed past my lips and he started to blend with me. We spiraled and danced our tongues together as one. Beneath my chest, my heart flew up and rapidly beat up against it.
Very easily, I pull away and whisper nearly out of breath. "We're going to miss the sight."
"The only thing I've missed is you," Orlando soul-heartily whispered. "I thought I would never get this chance to be with you again."
My heart crumbled every barrier I had to block him. Now I can't do it anymore. My soul screamed truthfully that I love him. He's my soulmate. It's as if I can't live without him or else I'll die.
"I love you," was all I could utter and then I cupped my palm on his nape to bring his face to mine. Instantly, he took the lead and snatched my lips softly. Much deeper, we kissed and intertwined our tongues together. I couldn't stop myself anymore from feeling this addiction overtake every desire I have for him. Gently, he turned my body and laid me down on the blanket. He spread my legs with his knees and then cuddled right between my thighs. Then his lips kiss me again in a soft slow motion. Until he released and started kissing that sensitive point right underneath my earlobe that he knew I loved.
Utterly slow, his magical lips nibbled down my neck and further from there. I moan as the sky lights up in colors above me. Ever so sweetly, his lips traveled to my chest. Once he reached the cleavage peak on my top, he sucked on the upper left side of my breast.
Things were such a paradise for me to feel passion pouring from his lips with every kiss. His lips made such cute suction sounds when he sucked my smooth flesh into his hot mouth. I giggled to feel this nibble and light pinch. Sure fact, he's going to leave me a nice noticeable hickey.
"That's enough..." I playfully giggled and pushed up on his firm chest to stop him. He chuckled and lifted far enough to hover his nose over mine. We were face to face, hardly an inch away. Our breath fanned into each other's delicate skin.
For the time being neither of us said anything. Pure love shined into our eyesight for one another. Ever so gently, I pulled the chain necklace that hung around his neck and simply guided his lips back onto mine.
Solely, we kissed with such deeper passion unfolding between us. We changed angles and our lips naturally went with the flow of things. I nibbled his lower lip as he pulled away. Without stalling he came right back in romantically to consume my mouth with such pleasure that fueled a heavy longing between our souls. Between licking and nibbling each other's lips and tongues. Orlando and I romantically attacked each other hungrily. Similar to the meteors ascending above us. Love infuses our hearts as one together in these luscious kisses. Such divine ecstasy lit our love as a volcano erupted inside us. I could never get enough of his taste and scent. Every fond memory of us replayed in my mind while we kissed without stopping for one breath.
