"Calm down Claude"
Claude said to himself as he looked at the surroundings.
He had woken up to an unfamiliar place, he looked around and tried moving but his body couldn't.
"What!?"
[ Ding! ]
[ Mob System Installing! ]
As soon as Claude saw the screen like projection in front of him his thoughts instantly raced.
'No way, I'm a mob?'
While he was still receiving the system he instantly heard footsteps.
"My baby is awake!"
Claude looked at the side to see a woman, she had blonde hair and red eyes, she looked like she was still in her early twenties, she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life.
He then wondered just how young she got pregnant, it was until he found something, something that shouldn't be prominent.
'She's an Elf!? Does this mean I'm an Elf!?'
"Why are you crying little one? Are you hungry?"
Claude didn't know what to do as he was still a baby, he didn't know what world or novel he was in yet.
He thought he would get to suck on the woman's breasts but it was until she created a ball of golden water.
"It's time for you to drink Water made out of Mana"
The woman left and shortly returned with a bottle of golden water inside, she took him in his arms and began feeding him.
Claude's mouth instinctively opened and began sucking on the bottle.

'Am I really just a mob?'
-
It had been six years since Claude had transmigrated, after learning the elven language and customs he finally knew where he was.
"I'm stuck in this damned Novel!"
Currently he was sitting alone in his house's library, first off he was stuck in one of his most hated yet loved novels of all time.
"Mass Exodus"
He was reading the history books and found out it was indeed the novel.
Mass Exodus was a story of how humans had captured and modernized the current realm of Orbis.
Various races opposed to the idea as they thought it would destroy the natural balance but alas not only were the humans gifted with wits they were also born with bloodlines and mana.
The dwarves, beings who loved producing things sided with the humans but some didn't and joined the other side instead.
The elves, who loathe the idea began an uprising as they were the subject of ridicule as they refused to be more modern and continued on with their traditional ways.
The Demons, were subject to hate crimes as they were made out to be terrorists due to their nature even though they were yet to move.
Other races got involved and began picking sides and soon war eventually broke out between two sides.
The Main protagonist however didn't choose a side and instead continued getting powerful as to unite them against a bigger enemy but he was too late the world was damaged and what was left were broken pieces of land and races.
The Protagonist wanted peace as to oppose the oncoming abyss as he learned but The races now had a blood feud and refused to cooperate with each other thus giving him the task to solely stop the oncoming danger.
The protagonist succeeded but died in the end leaving the world in a broken state, even with his sacrifice the races continued on with their wars immediately after they stopped the abyss.
"Well I can't blame him since the author wrote it that way and there's still thirty years or so before the abyss comes and perhaps twenty years before the war starts."
"Claude Honey!"
A sweet voice called Claude, it was his mother, Cerise Rayne, The elven families aside from the Royal families were not that quite mentioned in the book.
House Rayne was one of five great clans in Listeria, The Elven Territory, his clan specialised in military affairs in fact his father, Verdant Rayne, was the right hand of the king.
He remembered in the novel his father trained the protagonist in Elven magic as he believed in the protagonist's goals and after trying to recall what he had read.
"I was supposed to die since father would always look at the protagonist with a smile of a proud father or so in the future."
Claude closed his diary and placed it inside the system, he then went to his mother who was waiting for him.
"Mom?"
"Come it's time for you to train!"
"What do you mean?"
"You're father has called you to the training ground come with me."
"Mm!"
Claude grabbed Cerise's hands as they went to where his father was, as soon as he arrived there he saw his father standing in front of a rack of weapons.
"Claude"
"Father"
"Leave us be"
Cerise nodded and smiled at her husband, she then patted and kissed Claude's forehead.
"You can do this"
Claude gulped down as he was left alone with his father, this was the first time he was training with him.
"Your mother has taught you the spells you need to know as an elf, now I want you to choose a weapon."
Claude nodded as his father made way, Claude was now looking at the different weapons in front of him, he soon smiled.
'Interesting'
Verdant was interested in his choice.
"Father I want to use the Spear!"
"This is the first time I've seen a child find a spear interesting usually they would choose the sword or bow."
"You're excellent at spear right?"
Verdant laughed at his son's words, he then patted his head.
"Come father will teach you"
"Mm!"
Claude knew his father was one of the best spearmen in the continent in fact he had read that he alone could wipe out legions if he wanted to.
But in the Novel the protagonist chose the sword and his father was disappointed that he couldn't pass down his spear skills.
Knowing this Claude wanted to get it for himself as he knew the world would change with him, plus he too wanted to use the spear as it was favourite weapon to fantasize in using.
"Tell me exactly why you chose the spear?"
"I felt it calling out to me."
Claude couldn't give him a flowery answer as he his father looked scary even though he was quite handsome and dandy looking but the aura he was giving off was not a joke.
"I see"
Claude gulped but soon he saw his father smile, a rare one.
"Then let us begin!"
Claude nodded and watches his father grab a spear he then began performing a series of thrusts and moves, the spear moved along with his body as if they were one.
Shortly his father infused various elements into the spear, Claude was mesmerized until his father pointed the tip towards a sky and a water dragon formed and coiled around the spear.
He shot the spear onto the ground creating tremors and almost flooded the area if it weren't for his mother.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to show off?"
"Yes Dear!"
Claude looked at his father, it was the first time that he showed fear on his face, Claude also knew why.
Her mother Cerise Rayne was one of the only High Elf who was proficient in Light and Healing magic at the same time.
When Claude was 4 Years old She had already began teaching him basic Light and Healing spells.
Claude himself can heal wounds and bruises to a level but he can't reattach limbs unlike his mother.
"Yes Dear"
"Good finish your training and we'll eat dinner after."
Cerise then left leaving Claude and Verdant , the two looked at each other and nodded, they soon began training.
