Khalid slammed open the door, startling the three people inside.
Tristan opened his mouth as if he wanted to say something, but the words stuck in his throat the moment he saw Khalid's excited, big smile. This was a rare occasion, considering Khalid usually had a tired or serious expression.
"Khalid. What are you doing? Why are you so excited?" Dimitri let out a sigh.
"I've completed it." Khalid took out a small bottle.
"Completed what?" Dimitri tilted his head in confusion.
"Mmhm? I remembered reading it somewhere. Is it the Spirit Awakening Drug? The one you started when Master recruited you into the family?" Tristan raised his eyebrows.
"Yeah! Back then, the lord and the lady consumed the prototype drug, allowing them to gain a spirit transformation, which significantly boosted their power." Khalid nodded furiously.
