When Lisa's mum left Carol's room she went back to her bedroom and checked for her small cell phone that she always used whenever emergencies arose. She went on and dialed her private investigator's number and informed him what she needed to be done. Around 4 pm she received an email that had all the information about Henry Roberts and his family. On another note, although Carol wasn't mature enough, she knew that her family's situation was so bad that she didn't even bother to come out of her room unless it was necessary. She had also received a screenshot of the trending news from an anonymous person, which led her to go and check what was going on online and that's how she got to know the state of the situation at hand and she didn't dare to ask her mum about it.
On the other hand, Lisa and Henry were unaware of the trending news because they had decided to keep a low profile and stay out of social media for a while. It was only in the afternoon when Henry had gone to do his second job when a colleague showed him the news that was trending online and was also praising him for being so courageous. After work, he quickly headed home to tell Lisa the news. Upon hearing the news Lisa couldn't stop worrying more, she had a very bad feeling about how things would turn out. Although Henry tried to assure her that everything was going to be okay, deep down she couldn't stop thinking about the mess she had caused.
That evening also, when Lisa's father was back from work he didn't bother going to the main bedroom because he knew things wouldn't turn out well and decided to avoid his wife until the dust had settled. He stayed in the guest room and didn't have dinner that day, since he had already eaten at a restaurant. It was only Carol and her mum at the table, as for Carol she didn't even bother to ask why her father didn't join them, she just ate quietly and left for her room after she was done.
The following day, Lisa's mum was up and ready to go out around 7.30 am. She drove to the Roberts' place using the directions that the investigator had given her. The information from the investigator was like this:
Name: Henry, Surname: Roberts, Age: 19, Height: 6 feet, Complexion, fair, Eye-color: ocean blue, Hair-color: black, Blood group: B.
Summary: Former 97 Private High School student, he had the opportunity to enroll at the school through a sports scholarship and is supposed to join the country's team after High School. His grades are not high or low, he is an average student. He is the first son of Mr. Maxwell and Mrs. Lina Roberts. He moved to Small Town with Luiza and is now living at 99 Crystal Street, Bloom Road cottage 9. He is currently doing two part-time jobs, one as a waiter at My Food restaurant and another as a till operator at Wonder supermarket. Both parents are civil servants and they have seven children in total. They stay at their family's house which was left by the great grandparents of Mr. Roberts. That house accommodates more than ten families and they are all under an elder who is Mr. Roberts's uncle, Mr. Clive Roberts. They Live in Caramel town which is on the West side of Blueberry town where Lisa comes from and the distance between the two towns is 100 kilometers. Their address is 44 Moonlight Road, Hare Street Door Number 5. The house is very big and painted with cream and black paint outside.
(Sighing and thinking out loud) "An average student, seriously, it's just as good as a good for nothing kid who just knows sports. Even if he is good at sports, what if he gets seriously injured, and rendered useless, then what? Someone whose parents don't even have any idea of what family planning is. (Sigh) Who even gives birth to seven children in this century? (Clicks her tongue) No wonder their son is also stupid. What sins did I commit in my past life to deserve a fool like Luiza as a child? How can someone be too blind to notice all the boys from the rich families that she always met at the gatherings and functions? She just jumped into the mud just like that." She said, with a voice that was full of anger, and then hit the steering with her left hand and sighed as well. She was too angry that she couldn't find the appropriate and most satisfying words to say out loud what was on her mind.
At 8:15 am, her car was parked outside the Roberts' house which was as big as the information had stated. She parked and got out of the car, heading towards the house's yard and about six children were busy running around and playing. They were making quite a lot of noise which was making her more annoyed and also triggering the disgust that she was feeling.
(Approaching one of the kids who seemed to be a bit older than the rest of the other kids) "Hey!" She said trying to get the kid's attention, although she had approached where the kids were, she maintained a distance between them and her.
(Frowning) Hey, stop playing and come here!! She said with a harsh tone and also shouting which startled the kids and they quickly stopped playing.
There was total silence for a moment, which made the environment seem a bit dead at that moment. When Lisa's mum was about to open her mouth to speak again, the door of the house was opened and an elderly man came out.
(Standing at the entrance) "Oh, you must be one of our neighbors, please pardon these kids, they are still young and very noisy," said the elderly man with a smile and also a polite tone.
(Turning around, and looking at the man's face) "Huh!?" (Frowning and looking at the man with her eyes sizing him from top to bottom) "I guess you are Mr. Clive Roberts?"
(A bit confused and also feeling the tension) "Yes, I am, and you are…"
(After clicking her tongue) "Not only are you stinking poor, but you are also blind, do I look like someone from this wretched area?" She said looking around and gesturing with her hands.
(Surprised) "Eh, are we quarreling…?" Asked Mr. Clive who was feeling uncomfortable and also upset about the treatment the visitor had just given him.
(Agitated) "Don't think so highly about yourself, do you even know who I am and what I do? Why would I stoop so low, to argue with a shameless low-life like you?" Said, Lisa's mum with a tone that was full of contempt.
(Irritated) "I think I have given you too much respect…" Said Mr. Clive as he was getting tired of the insults.
"Too much respect is this a joke? You had the guts to let your relative seduce my daughter so that you would be able to reap where you didn't sow. Let me tell you something, you made the wrong move and if what I want is not achieved you will all go down. You don't just mess with my family's reputation and my daughter's future and walk freely"
"Since you do not have any respect for the elderly please leave my compound, I am a person of few words…"
(Annoyed) "This old man, (Looking at her beautiful manicured nails) I am not a very patient person and I don't like low classes like you. (Pointing at him) I want you to carefully listen to me. Tell Henry Roberts to leave my daughter alone, I don't care what he is going to do but he has to make sure that Luiza comes home. I am giving him seven days, if by that time my daughter is not back each one of you will be witnesses of a bad turnaround." Said Lisa's mum with a voice that was full of anger which she was trying by all means possible to suppress.
After those words, she didn't wait to hear what the elderly man had to say next, she just turned around and headed to the side of the road where her car was parked. And in a few minutes, her car was out of sight, Mr. Clive had woken up in very high spirits and his attention was drawn outside by the kids' silence and he got to encounter the person who ruined his mood of the day. Even the kids had stopped playing and were listening to the conversation, between their elder and a stranger. Mr. Clive was so stunned by what had just happened that after Lisa's mum had left, he kept on standing at the entrance, and his eyes glued to the road. He was then taken back from his thoughts by Henry's father who was about to leave for work. Mr. Clive asked him to stay a little bit and he explained to Henry's father what had just happened. To which he also agreed with him, to tell Henry everything just as how it had happened. After Henry's father had left, Mr. Clive dialed Henry's number but he couldn't get through.
