"Tyson, what do you really want done with that guy? We can't keep him forever and sooner or later his brother is going to show up looking for him. Hide is not one to step aside and let things happen to Nova.." Zeal started going to a long rant as he worried about how they would deal with Hide if the man showed up.
Hide and Nova were not bad people but in order to survive over the years any time The third ranker, Zeref, came to them for something they would bend to his will. It was never about them agreeing with the man but simply that they did what they had to in order to ensure their safety each year in Numen's Garden. Zeref was someone that others feared to mess with just as they feared Tyson. Though Zeref was only the third ranker it did not mean he could not rival Tyson. He did not hold the same length of time in the garden, but he had his own ways to power through and keep on an equal footing.
The room felt dreary as they both stood there pondering over the idea. Neither one of them felt that dealing with Hide was something they wanted to do but Zeal was willing to do what he had to in order to protect himself. When he accepted to join under Tyson in the revolt he had already accepted that there was no turning back for him. The only thing Zeal could do now was push forward with Tyson in the garden. Even if Zeal backed out of the revolt now there was no chance that he would be let off for having been a member of the revolt against Numen. Standing there as Zeal waited for a response from Tyson felt uncomfortable because he knew that the fate of Nova was in a sense a part of his own as well. Any danger that came in the direction of their group was now a risk to himself as well.
"I'll take care of him myself. Just stay away from him until we leave." Tyson said after a moment of silence as he stepped over towards the window of his room and gazed out side at the people that would be following him once they left the castle.
"Are you going to kill him?" Zeal asked before softly muttering under his breath. "I think we should kill him and get it over with."
For a moment Zeal worried that Tyson would hear his remark and scold him for it. He knew that what he said might have felt harsh to most. For him who had been through years in the garden, just as Tyson, he could only find the ways it would be useful to remove the problem before things got worse. Knowing that a fight against Hide would be harsh Zeal was ready to fight if the need arose before him. Dealing with the problem now they would not have to risk being attacked by Hide and Nova later down the road.
"What I do with him is not for you to concern yourself with.. Just make sure that things are prepared for departure once I take care of the problem." Tyson was not surprised by Zeal's concept of the situation in the least. If it had been a normal event in the garden Nova surely would have died if he had come across either of them on his own.
"Yes.. I'll take care of preparing the people to move out soon." Zeal affirmed that he would take care of the task. Knowing Tyson well he did not dare to push him too hard for answers. If Tyson wanted Zeal to get involved in his decision about Nova he would come to him when the time came. Pushing Tyson to become involved further would only put Zeal at risk himself.
He was the only one for Tyson who held the best temperament for conversing with the people so when it came to motivating everyone he was the person who Tyson always felt best to leave such social tasks to. If it came to socializing Tyson kept his socialization to a minimum as if he was scared to get close to anyone. At times it amazed Zeal that Tyson would even converse with Chi at all when he thought about how anti social Tyson truly was around them.
Zeal did not stand around with Tyson to further their conversation because he knew he would most likely get nowhere if he tried to make conversation with him. Turning on his heels he headed for the door. Opening it and then shutting himself outside the room. Tyson never did turn to so much as glance at Zeal as he left the room.
So.. you're trying to target my little rabbit.. Tyson thought to himself as he stood there at the bedroom window. A cold glint of fury behind his golden gaze as his gears turned in his mind. There was no way Tyson was willing to sit still and let something happen to Chi. If another came looking for Chi in order to take him from Tyson then he would put forth all he had in order to protect him. A day in which Tyson sat back and watched as someone stole away the only warmth he knew would not come.
Lately it felt as if one thing after another was out to get in his way. No matter how much he looked at it though it was as if someone or something was always needing his focus. Though when it came to things that revolved around Chi he could not shake himself free of feeling the need to take care of him.
Moving across the room until he reached his bed, Tyson sat down. Without anyone in it the room felt strangely empty. How long had it been since he was in his room without another? He had almost forgotten what it was like to be alone in a place without another at his side.
Why does the silence bother me so much? Is the little rabbit really affecting me so much? Tyson asked himself as he leaned back onto bed so that he was flat on his back. He tried to shake loose the idea that he was becoming addicted to having Chi around him no matter how much he felt the need to leave his room. Unwilling to admit to his own feelings towards the man he simply tried to remain there alone and endure the empty silence that wafted about the room around him.
The more he forced himself to endure the silence of the room around him heavier it felt. Something about it felt as if he might become smothered by the world.
