When I asked Luke if what he had said about us being mated to each other was true, I hadn't expected the fuzzy big wolf to gently lick my face again. It was so cute, and I was about to rub it fur again when I suddenly stood up.
Subconsciously, I took several steps backward to see what was happening to it, and the same bone-cracking sound I had heard from Luke before he shifted into the wolf filled my living room again. This time, I couldn't find any traces of fear in me.
I was genuinely excited even though I knew this wasn't normal, and I was probably stupid for thinking that I was actually mated to a werewolf. A being that I've only read about online.
It didn't take much time before Luke's glorious and elegant human form took place again, but this time he was totally naked!
