No!" Elaine screamed crying and rushed to the woman
"What do you think of yourself, how could you do this to such an innocent child!" She screamed angrily and slapped her but her hands passed through the woman's face. Elaine stared at the queen in confusion, it seemed the queen couldn't see or hear her. She was seeing the past, none of this is real
"Please- hck don't- hck talk about- hck my- mo- hck mother " Elaine's eyes teared up more at the sound of the little guy's heartbreaking words
"Shut up! Now you are going to tell me how to talk huh you bastard!" Her voice thundered

"Stoop!" Elaine couldn't take it anymore, she knew the pain of loosing one's mother, the loneliness, the fear and Alexander had gone through worse. She didn't want to see or hear anymore of this! She needed to get out now! She shut her eyes closed and prayed not to see the image anymore. She opened her eyes to see that she was now at a cliff and the little Alexander and Kevin where there together
"Don't think too much dear brother" Kevin said holding onto each of Alexander's shoulders

"You know he is right Alexander " a woman's voice distracted the two boys and they both looked at the direction of the voice to see the queen approaching them, walking gracefully
"Greetings mother" Kevin greeted and nudged at Alexander
"G-reeti-ngs your ma- majesty " Alexander stammered
"Here let me help you" she said and walked closer to the boys with killing intent . Horror flashed across Alexander's eyes as the queen threw him off the cliff

"Nooooo!" Elaine woke up screaming. Alexander who had been sitting on the chair close to the bed quickly stood up at her frightened ton
"What happened" Alexander rushed to the side of the bed. He had brought her back to their room after she passed out. Elaine pulled him into a tight embrace , crying her eyes out in fright. "Here" he made her drink and dropped the glass
'how is it possible that Elaine saw my memories ' he thought feeling utterly puzzled
"Do you know what's wrong with you?" She asked

"Then what am I?"
"My father once told me stories of ancient golden dragons and I think you must be a descendant" she said more to herself than him
"I've heard of them too, the golden and black dragons went into war against each other and since then, they've been extinct " he said with a sigh
"Do you think -"
"I suspected, but there's no way to get more information about it, until i saw that book"
"What book?" Elaine asked intrudged
"That golden book you gave me, the night of the royal ball. It had a golden dragon encarved on it, but it's locked and I've been trying to find the key" he confessed
"Did u find it?" She asked
"No, not yet....but I will " he said confidently
"I know you will " Elaine said with an assuring smile that melted his heart
"I think you should rest now wife" he said and tried to tuck her in
"But,I haven't bathed or changed yet" she complained shyly
"I already did that for you " he said looking apologetic that's when Elaine realized that she was now dressed in her red nightie that barely covered her skin
"Am sorry I -"
"It's fine husband " she said shyly and laid down. Alexander got up to leave but Elaine grabbed onto his hand to stop him
"Won't you stay here with me?" She unknowingly asked
"Can I?" He felt after she knew of his monster, she'd be scared and push him away from her, but she wasn't scared and didn't move away from him. This wife of his was really something
"Um, yeah" and with that, Alexander got into bed with her, they looked into each other's eyes, both not wanting to spoil the moment with words but spoke with their eyes. An intense hunger surged within them, all Elaine wanted was for Alexander to pin her down and kiss her, she needed him to make her loose her mind as he had done before. Alexander on the other hand had to force himself to keep control of his bodily needs, he couldn't help wanting to touch Elaine but he couldn't for fear that she might not want to yet.
