Lucas, Annie's father, has always been rigidly firm about the house rules that he has declared as the family's head. Annie had always wondered how her fabulous Mom can endure such egoistic, self-centered, immature, inconsiderate, unfaithful ( although her mother looks fabulous), he still finds it hard up to now that he's already 65 to be a one-woman-man. Annie is a living witness of how her Dad came home drunk, which is a regular scene each time that her Dad lose a lot of money at the Grand Casino. She had seen how hard his Dad had beaten her Mom, to the point that even her dangling earrings got broken a numerous times. And each time that she witnesses such scene, her interest in being with a man become less and less, although as far as she can remember she hadn't really been that interested in being with a man someday. She would have worried look traced on her young sweet face as she checks the master bedroom after another beat-up session orchestrated by her dad Lucas. Her Mom has always warned her though, never to enter the room whatever commotion she hears from her parent's room. Her brothers always sleep early and wouldn't be awaken even by a very relentless tornado.
