Everyone stood there in shock. Xavier was still channeling his energy. Lines of binary were appearing around him, bending and distorting reality.
Eventually, Evan yelled, "You heard him, we've got to go!" Before the man could do anything, the kitsune picked them up and whisked them away.
Xavier was left alone with his foe. "Let me guess, you're with them?" Xavier asked, narrowing his eyes. "And if I am?" The man asked in return, grinning slightly. Xavier raised his fists.
"You know if you give up now no one has to get hurt," the man said to Xavier. "There is no peaceful ending to this," Xavier immediately replied.
"So be it," the man said. In one swift motion, he hurled the energy balls he had been storing at Xavier. Xavier coded in a wall to block them.
The balls tore the wall apart, leaving nothing but dust. The man was suddenly behind Xavier and punched him in the face.
Xavier went flying backward, landing on his feet. Xavier regained his footing and lunged forward.
He coded in a bazooka and fired it at the man. The man blocked the shot with an energy ball. Xavier quickly typed something on his keyboards.
Xavier had given the bazooka infinite ammunition. The man ducked around the rockets and blocked the others with energy balls. One rocket hit the ground next to the man, launching him away.
The man took flight and launched two energy balls at Xavier. One of the balls hit the bazooka and destroyed it, nearly catching Xavier's hand in the process. Xavier was back at square one, having to rapidly jump around to dodge the balls of energy.
Xavier coded in a clone of himself and rushed the man with it. Upon reaching him, he unleashed a flurry of blows at the man.
The man was able to block them all and counter Xavier by punching him in the gut. Xavier was launched back.
The man continued his onslaught by launching more energy balls at Xavier. They knocked him back and forth. Xavier coded a wall next to him, blocking the next energy ball.
This gave Xavier the time to dodge the next one and regain his footing. The man, however, was already behind him.
The man kicked Xavier in the back, sending him face-first into the ground. Xavier rolled over to see the man standing over him.
The man had a massive amount of energy balls hovering over his head. Xavier thought to himself. What the heck am I gonna do?!? I can't hit him but he can hit me!
"What made you think you could beat me?" The man taunted Xavier.
"Was it fear, was it desperation?" Even though he was taunting Xavier, the man was unusually calm. "I told Lord Beezlebub I could do this myself, but he didn't believe me," the man continued, "If your friends are as weak as you I won't have a problem."
"Although you're weak, at least you tried," the man said. With a flick of a wrist, all of the energy balls were hurled at Xavier.
Xavier spun his keyboard. He deflected all of the balls and jumped back. Two energy balls exploded next to him.
Xavier coded in a shield before getting hit. Xavier then gave himself the ability to teleport before teleporting behind the man and hacking one of his energy balls.
Xavier then launched the ball at the man. The ball slipped between all the others and hit the man in the face. Xavier used this as a distraction. Xavier teleported back to the ground.
He coded in a rail gun. Charging it for a few seconds, he shot a massive laser at the man. Upon impact the laser created a massive explosion, blowing apart the surrounding asteroids.
A ways away, a massive explosion was seen behind the group.
Everyone looked back in shock and awe. "I hope Xavier's good," Corey said. "Oh please," Evan replied. "Xavier's tough, he can handle this," "You are correct Evan," Isaiah chimed in.
"I made some upgrades to his keyboards that should allow him to at least survive." Evan looked around at Isaiah. "What kind of upgrades?" he asked. "These upgrades will make his constructs more real, allowing for increased combat capabilities," Isaiah replied, shrugging.
Evan raised an eyebrow at Lennox who looked skeptical. "You better hope it works or I'm gonna smack you with a keyboard," he said. Isaiah turned back around to check that they were still headed in the right direction.
"What exactly do you plan to do when we get there?" Jackie asked. "I'm working on that," Isaiah replied. "We should stop," Benjamin said.
Benjamin jumped off of kitsune onto a nearby asteroid. After surveying their surroundings, Benjamin sat down and began nursing his injuries.
After seeing Benjamin do this, the rest of the group followed suit.
Benjamin unsheathed his sword and began to stare into the reflection once again. Velena sat down beside him and looked over, curious.
"What are you doing?" He asked. "Who am I?" Benjamin asked in return. "What do you mean by that?" He asked.
Benjamin thought back to when he was fighting Adina. "You really are like him," what did that mean?
Benjamin was deep in thought when Velena leaned over and began touching his face.
He touched the cuts and bruises on him simultaneously healing them. This snapped Benjamin out of his stupor. Benjamin looked at his reflection and saw that his face was healed.
Before he could admire Velena's handiwork a sudden massive explosion appeared in the distance. Sitting up Benjamin immediately thought of Xavier.
Before he could do anything, however, Miles got up and began heading towards the source of the explosion.
"I'm gonna go to help Xavier," Miles said. Before he could go through, Lennox fist-bumped him. "That'll help," Lennox said jokingly.
Miles looked at his hand which was now glowing pink. He closed his fist and turned to walk away.
Xavier stood, panting. The smoke was still rising out of the smoldering crater where the man once stood. Xavier let the rail gun go.
It faded into thin air. It was at this moment that the man came walking out of the smoke. He was unscathed and smirking.
"Wow, that was intense," he said. The man rotated his stretched arms and shook them off.
" I still can't see why Lord Beezlebub wants you dead so badly," he continued. "You kids don't even compare to his strength."
The man summoned several eenergy spheres that began pulsating immediately.
"However, I might have to take this fight more seriously." The man seemed to say this more to himself than to Xavier.
The man shook his head and looked at Xavier. He readied his keyboard.
The man shook his head. He looked at Xavier and waved his hand at him. The energy spheres ulsating above his head were flung at Xavier.
Xavier thought he was prepared for this. When they reached Xavier's vicinity the spheres imploded, pulling Xavier towards them.
Several other spheres exploded when Xavier was pulled close to them, dealing maximum damage.
