Synopsis
A single, bloody white rose. That is all that is left with the bodies. Illyeria, a 21-year-old woman, is no one special. Hel, she is just a human after all. But determined to live her life, free of the stereotypes subjected to her people, and the prejudices against her as a human, she wishes to study healing despite the low chances of succeeding in the world dominated by Arcane. But Illyeria hides a past that she hasn't told anyone about, not even her best friend, Tia, her sister in all but blood, and certainly not her mother. But after three years of hiding, everything is falling apart. And she may not be able to hide anymore. Plagued with dreams of murdered women, Illyeria might not be as ordinary as she would like to believe and when the White Rose Killer comes knocking at her door, Illyeria has to decide whether she will fight or let her past swallow her whole and her daemons take control. Will Illyeria survive, or will the Truth be her undoing? Will Love set her free, or be the thing that damns her?

Chapter 1 - Insight to Origin

I myself am Roma and was raised as both a Roma and a none Roma (gorger) and as such the Romanii were born, heavily influenced by the stereotypes of my people. My Fantasy Romanii will explore the prejudice, insults and hardships that both my family and fantasy Roma endure.

And that I, as a woman living in both a Roma and Gorger world struggle to find myself. This will be portrayed through my MC Illyeria Black, Daughter of a Romanii Mother and Gorger Father.

And also the Hardships that Illyeria struggles with as a human in an Arcane world.

I will however instead of using Roma terms, like Gorger, I have created my own language for my Fantasy Romanii, called Ikar. It is not perfect and you will only see a few phrases and words that have no proper construct yet as a language but I will put their translation at the end of each chapter.

My Romanii is also influenced by other beautiful cultures, such as the Maori people, and the Mosuo people. This means not all Romanii traditions or stereotyping will be based on the Roma people of today's world. So please no comments saying I have got this, that, or something wrong.

But please enjoy the book!
