Once everything was loaded up and we all said our goodbyes, we headed west out of town. Tracy and Jessel were in the carriage while Foster and Hank rode up front.
I told him Jessel wasn't comfortable with men, and he said he could ride up from no problem.
"I trust that you are going to keep us safe. You seem confident, and I think that you need me, so I will just keep the faith," Foster said, and he wasn't wrong, but Tracy was the one that would keep us all safe.
I had taken Annie into the Mirror Realm alone and explained what we would be doing.
"Really? Isn't that dangerous?" Annie asked after I explained my plan of luring monsters to us.
"Normally, but Tracy has great control, and her body can infinitely channel Mana with her Old Blood Magic. She just needs to activate the two spells at the top of the list, and nothing will be able to get closer to fifty feet," I explained, and Annie nodded but still looked unsure.
"What could kill any monster and not us?" Annie asked.
