Chapter 67 - Heaven Is A Lie

Jessel ended up pushing her back into my chest after the two of us talked for a bit more, and I wrapped my arms around her. She rested her cheek on my arm and lightly kissed it before shutting her eyes.

I smiled and kissed the top of her head before closing my own. I was slightly worried about who I was going to see in my sleep, but that didn't seem to prevent me from slipping off.

The moment I did, I was sitting at a bar where I had never been. The place was much smaller than Tom's bar, but something was almost alien.

"This is one of my favorite places to think."

I turned to my left, and Gaston was sitting beside me, but he had red hair, and something about him had changed. Now I was almost positive that this was never Gaston, or maybe that was what his name had once been.

"Why all the cloak and dagger? Why not just come forward and say you were the All-Mighty from the start?" I asked, and Gaston laughed.
