Chapter 65 - Better View Of Bigger Problems

I sighed.

That was probably a proper estimate for me. I was a monster, not a Hero, but I had no regrets about what I had done.

"I am going to go and have a talk with that man I had brought up on stage, Foster. He seems to know a fair bit about the history of the world, so I would like to pick his brain for a bit," I said to the girls but then looked at Tom, who was drying a cup. "We should have a drink after with John, but none of that burning horse piss from last night!"

Tom broke into a laugh but nodded to me, and I turned to leave from behind the bar.

While I was enjoying the drink in my hand, I wasn't about to get myself nearly as messed up as I had two nights ago! That was not an experience I would like to repeat, but I had made sure to bring a flask of Potion just in case.

Once I was out from behind the bar, I spotted Foster sitting alone in one of the booths. I walked over to join him, people stepping out of my way as I walked.
